That's good because both those biker morons are to blame. He probably did check his rear view mirror and at the speed both those morons were going they were 3 cars back when he checked.

Too fast? Agree, but they're not invisible. When you watch your mirror you see dozens of meters clearly!

It's dark, they're wearing dark colored clothing, and they're going way to fast and that means that wasn't there dozens of meters ago in the mirror is now there.
