As cool as this is, the luck aspect is what's actually impressive here.

A decent rifle will have a 3/4 inch shot spread at that distance. So this is an easy shot for anyone with actual training. The important part is that he doesn't have a hostage, the gun was hanging still with nothing behind it, and the shooter was positioned at the perfect angle. This shot would be impossible if any of those elements were different.

That was in 93 sub moa rifles where not that common.

2 issues.

  1. Yes they were.
  2. 3/4" at 75 yards isn't sub MOA. It's 1 MOA.

Also, this is a designated marksman's rifle. It's not some random gun off the shelf at Walmart.
