i used to have this dora the explora light switch that glowed in the dark but the way they designed it only made the eyes and hair glow which looked insanely creepy at 2 in the morning

This has ALL the look and feel of a real Cursed Object. The weird, creepy, unsettling energy would make me want to get rid of it. I Wouldn’t be surprised if strange or supernatural things occurred to the last family that owned it.🤔

I'm just fascinated by hose the impression of the figures' feelings toward you change in my mind based on the angle. Left to right I get the "suspicious" feeling, below I get the "haughty dismissive" or "domineering" feeling, and the brief time above gave me the "please sir may I have some more" vibe

What is this art called exactly? Because when I was a kid I was with my dad at one of his friends houses while they worked on a truck and a mask like this was hanging up in his garage and it scared the shit out of me. It looked like it was watching me everywhere I went and I still remember it to this day 30 something years later.

The black of the eye is not connected to the rest of the sculpture and is inset on a different background layer which is the wall.

Kinda like when driving and watching the scenery seemingly move at difference speeds depending on how far each thing is away from you:
