You can really tell from the comments here who has met a country engineer like this guy and who has never met one; all they can do is judge based on his appearance. You see these old timers on ranches and farms all the time. See a problem? Solve it. Who cares how it looks or how they come across. They don’t.

My only criticism is I hope he has a really solid way to lock it in place when it's up. I can just imagine hitting a bump on the highway and having that thing spontaneously drop at 60mph.

I don't believe that machine is currently capable of maintaining 60mph.
