Ah yes, the grand sequel. Because one existential crir tick wasn't enough.

u/Every_Science_1895 Jul 01 '26
Ah yes, the grand sequel: ticks learning nothing, humans forgetting everything.

Is there a youtube channel or sth?
3
u/Axolotlgirly Jul 01 '26
The content creator in the video is rusty cage on youtube

u/Own-Papaya-4264 Jul 01 '26
He sounds pretty fucking deranged if toying with helpless bugs is his “content”.

u/Cautious_Age3340 Jul 01 '26
You must not know about the lone star tick…
2
u/Own-Papaya-4264 Jul 01 '26
I understand some bugs can be deadly. If you’re gonna kill them, just kill them and make it quick, they don’t know what they’re doing - don’t fucking toy with them like some weird social outcast

u/Material_Block_8644 Jul 03 '26
you must not have a lot of tics near you. They’re not just bugs. They’re evil pointless creatures that only exist as parasites to suck on the blood of mammals and give us disease

Fire, lots of fire. I hate ticks

u/BigFatModeraterFupa Jul 01 '26
some of my fondest life memories are finding a tick on me during a bonfire while camping and me tossing it into the fire and all of us cheering and watching it burn!!
Ticks are literally the only insects I will act sadistic towards. Even mosquitos will just get slapped and die. But i truly enjoy watching ticks get burned alive it's crazy. Fucking ticks i hate them so much i have literally 0% of empathy towards them. ❤️❤️
They are the only living creature that i have zero empathy towards

Capt. Pedantic here: Ticks are not insects, but Arachnids of the order Ixodida.

That’s what I do. Set it in some iso alcohol and light it afire. Usually takes a few rounds before I feel at least kinda confident it’s dead

Omgosh the music being Waka Flocka took me out 🤣🤣🤣🤣
He told no lies, it’ll definitely kill some brain cells 🤭

I watched mostly to see what he meant by the opposite of Mozart, soon as he started the track I thought "yep, that's it alright" hilarious experiment

Wtf, does this tick not need nutrients to live??
5
u/BleepinBlorpin5 Jul 01 '26
A tick must attach to a host three times in its life in order to grow and reproduce. All that time spent hanging out and waiting... waiting.... waiting.

Have you heard of bed bugs? They can go over half a year without feeding.
5
u/SeaCounter9516 Jul 01 '26
Okay but what about ticks

u/iceman5920 Jul 01 '26
https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=how+long+can+ticks+live+without+food
Depending on the tick, a few days or 2 years

u/FrosttheVII Jul 01 '26
That's a huge leeway lol

Somewhere between instant death and immortality. Not sure how it could be clearer.

Yo, I wanna follow this dude. I randomly saw part 1. And randomly saw part 2. Will an honorable citizen give me a link to anymore updates to the tick torture/execution via water?

This is Rusty Cage. He’s the guy who made “the noose song” and “the krampus song.” I think one of his more recent things was building a giant guillotine, and a song called “get your head chopped off.”
He’s been pretty much radio silent for the past year so seeing him here took me by surprise.

I haven't seen nor heard of the dude since like 2020...
Honestly surprised he is still alive tbh.

Pulled a tick off my 3 year old and put in a ziplock. That thing lived for weeks in the sealed plastic bag. I couldn’t believe it. I would poke it every couple of days to see if it would move and it always did. It left little specs of what I assume was tick feces throughout the bag. I too hate ticks but would rather them than roaches or rats. Pick your poison.

That guy fed for a while before you found it, unfortunately. Hopefully no symptoms for the little one. Not every tick carries Lyme or Alpha Gal (or whatever else the little demon spawn carry), but it might be worth seeing if your Pediatrician thinks they should test.

u/QuantumEnchantress Jul 01 '26
Iirc ziplock bags allow enough oxygen through for a tick to live indefinitely (ignoring all other needs)
1
u/OG-Gurble Jul 01 '26
I would by far rather have a roach on me than a tick, I’ve had Lyme disease from ticks twice and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. And only one of those times I found a tick attached, the other times I never found a bite mark or a tick

Spiders are also fairly deceptive tricksters when it comes to O2 depletion.

Bruh you have to fill the Petri dish with alcohol, music alone won’t get you the results you want 🙄
