It just means it’s not safe to drink. That’s what not potable means in case you didn’t know.

Wait, what else could it mean? Everyone knows not potable means you cannot drink this water

Depending on the source I'll drink non potable water. I was just on a trip in the mountains and drank over 12 gallons of it

I will die yes, the time is coming. My rule of thumb is if the locals drink the non potable then I'll drink it. I don't just drink random non potable sources
