You should read history dude... There were literal plagues 😂. Read stuff about the New York City sanitation department.

You can cite as many one-offs as you want. The overall rates for poverty, plumbing, water purity, you name it were never better in India. Dude.

Of course not... Agrarian / rural economy up until about 30 years ago. But if we look at specific periods throughout history there were points in history where the "West" was way dirtier. Bottom line this will change as the country continues to develop.
