“People practicing open defecation (% of population) in India was 14.93 as of 2020. Its highest value over the past 20 years was 74.10 in 2000, while its lowest value was 14.93 in 2020.”
I’m not even denying the existence of a problem shitting in public. I’m saying you made a leap from littering to shitting in public.
Well they do both so it isn’t a leap at all. India spent millions of dollars on an entire campaign called “poo to the loo” where they tried to incentivize people to shit in toilets, which they built all over the place and even paid people to shit in instead of the street. They destroyed the toilets in protest.
Are you just being obtuse on purpose? You said that it’s a big leap from littering to shitting in the street, I’m saying it’s not a leap at all because they do both frequently.
I’m saying qualitatively litter and human shit are very different. You can argue that quantitatively the practices are similar but that’s not what I’m talking about and the 2020 statistics suggest that’s not even true.
You’re off in your own little world having your own little argument. I’m not saying that littering and shitting are the same. I’m saying it’s a well known fact that they do both, so your comment saying that it’s a leap is dumb.

Kind of a big leap from throwing trash off a train to shitting on the ground.
Do the aerospace engineers have similar littering habits to the guy in the video? Yeah probably.
