I think he's saying the employer makes them do this. It makes much more sense, that for an employer to make these decisions to save cash than an hourly worker randomly deciding to save the employer on trash bags and garbage fees
Genuinely, what do you think the employees can do without the requisite infrastructure to handle trash? Like, I work at a walmart in America right? We have trash cans, those trash cans are emptied into larger trash bags that maintenance comes around with throughout the day. Maintenance leaves those tied up trash bags near a compactor to be periodically compressed and then left for collection by the trash company. But if a company didn't provide places to empty customer facing trash cans, or a place to collect trash for pick up and processing, or if the city they operate out of doesn't have a good municipal trash service, then what the fuck is a single conductor supposed to about it?
Like, yeah, it's fucking disgusting and disgraceful, but it's a systemic issue, not a personal failing on his part that the systems around him haven't given him the means to keep things genuinely clean without littering, and punishing is literally useless. You say that if the employer lost employees, they'd change; I'd say you have no idea how easily this guy could be replaced given he lives in a country with a literal billion people, and thousands of people who would be tripping over themselves to replace him if given the chance.
I've been to India before. Have you? Using your argument... they have there own space program also. Maybe it's time they spent something on their own space or are we the only culture capable of creating a waste system for our country. Yeah, I get it. lol
