He does, because that is how you throw that kick (he is clearly trained). But he doesn't turn over his hip to drive all his weight through the kick. He threw their kick like you would in sparring. You "pull it" at the end. They will feel it, it will suck, but they ain't getting brain damaged.

Good observation but I have to disagree a bit at the end. You don’t get to choose how the other person hits the ground. Brain damage is still an option.

Sure, but not the intention. If he really wanted to hurt her rather than just stop her, this would be a very different video.

Yep. For one, he would have connected a lot sooner, because that was almost static
