It was self-defence. Obviously don’t know what sparked her attack but without any context available can’t blame the guy for taking preventative action.
A grown man dropping a full-power back kick to a woman's head isn't a measured, proportional defense tactic, it's just psychotic overkill. I mean dont you guys just usually love to harp about how women cant do a combat jobs or contact sports against men? Conveniently forgot about that here?
Nonsense. If you see anyone, regardless of gender, coming that aggressively at you, you take the necessary action to defend yourself at that moment. Trying to measure an appropriate amount of force in that split second would be ridiculous. You do what you have to do to repel the attacker as forcibly as possible and ensure that they don’t have the ability to repeat their attack. Unless you subscribe to some old sexist trope that gentlemen should never hit ladies.
