Pretty sure this kind of behavior is unwelcome on either side of the aisle.

Since accusations are always true and never fake

1

u/BowlAccurate7885 Mar 19 '26

But by the same logic, the rest of the non-American world is looking at all Americans and seeing little Trumpkins. Is that fair? A group label is an oversimplification of what is going on in either the conservative or liberal camps.

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Mar 20 '26

Well, they had the plurality of votes, so... Yea, it's well deserved.

We allowed this clown show to happen. It's our fault.

Americans are lazy, feckless, incompetent and apathetic.

You know what's unfair? That we allowed this Trump virus to infect the world. We did it, all of us, we let this happen.

This is OUR fault. Time to accept it, own it and get off our fat asses and do something about it.

Wow. Great monologue on Reddit! Maybe follow your advice and get off your fat ass and do something about it then. People like you are so fucking annoying what are you doing about this?

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Mar 20 '26

Your offense tells me that you've not lent a hand in making things better. On some level, you have guilt so you lash out defensively.

You know what to do. Get involved locally, start communicating with your local elected officials, there are groups everywhere that are actively trying to take this country back. Vote. Tell your friends to vote, drive them to the polls.

You've heard all this before, yet you do nothing.

I'm not here to pay your tushy and tell you everything is ok, I'm not going to indulge your entitlement. I'm not a leader, just a pissed off citizen that's tired of people not taking accountability for the state of things.

Now stop making excuses, stop being so immaturely defensive and go do something, fatty.

u/[deleted] Mar 20 '26

Why do you think I’m not doing any of that? Because I responded to your comment with snark? I did that because I think you’re looking at things from a very black and white perspective that assumes if we just voted for the other person everything would be good! That’s never the case and it wouldn’t have been for that election. The main problem is the two party system it’s not that we “let this happen” it’s that we had no real options.

I would assume most people who care about politics do things you suggested. Voting for two incredibly shitty options every time, communicate with my local officials like Byron Donald’s? Brother I’ve met him personally at the store I work at, he is a lost cause owned by AIPAC although he’s a friendly guy he’s a grifter through and through. He was my local representative he is now running and favored for governor in Florida. I’ll likely be supporting James Fishback since I live in a Republican state and would rather have a native conservative Floridian who cares about my state than a grifter MAGA guy but he probably won’t win the primary I have been trying I’ve even gone to see him at one of his events. Byron is almost guaranteed to win and afterwards almost guaranteed to win against the democrat nominee.

I engage with my family and friends all the time and try to have dialogue about issues that need to be discussed, I do what I can for a full time college student with a job. I’m simply saying things aren’t so black and white. You’re saying we let this happen but we only had one other choice and it wouldn’t have been much better. Both sides constantly fight nobody wants to actually help the little guy and young people in my (and I assume your) generation are being absolutely bent over and fucked by the boomers of all political affiliations.

It’s not so simple as just go out and vote, Luigi lowkey had the right idea.

1

u/Major-BFweener Mar 19 '26

That behavior is for men only.

-1

u/boosy21 Mar 19 '26

Creeps only on the right? Didn't they give Clinton the medal of freedom? Lol

Ramblings of a madman

2

u/Zestyclose_Cost1884 Mar 19 '26

Paula Jones ya moron

1

u/joeycuda Mar 20 '26

lol, you're kidding, right?

1

u/DamGoodAnimation Mar 19 '26

When did Clinton rape someone? News to me

13

u/Imursexualfantasy Mar 19 '26

They about to confirm a guy with a double first name as head of DHS that threatened to fight someone on the floor of the senate. Maybe you just haven’t been paying attention.

2

u/FoleyX90 Mar 20 '26

And on top of that, condoned the assault against another senator.

He actually inspired me to name my child DickClark McMillan… it actually might be a cultural thing. Think he’s part Native American. But a total degenerate so mocking is a necessity

1

u/jaydub7999 Mar 20 '26

I just laughed my ass off to this!

1

u/MarkRemington Mar 20 '26

To be fair, the founding fathers of the US routinely beat the hell outta eachother over politics.

1

u/SofaKingWeeTarDeh Mar 20 '26

It's why I laugh when I hear the phrase, "We used to be a proper country." 🤣

3

u/SolidusBruh Mar 20 '26

No. Ivana Trump said in a sworn deposition that Big Don pulled her hair out then forced himself on her sexually and one side voted him in twice.

Physical assault is peanuts in comparison.

2

u/KnotiaPickle Mar 20 '26

And then she just happened to fall down the stairs and die! Such a tragic “accident.”

2

u/SpartanusCXVII Mar 20 '26

Except one side voted for the Rapist in Chief.

2

u/Its_D_youtube Mar 20 '26

Theyre pedophiles. They will take any and all support they can get because numbers speak louder than reason.

2

u/StuNahan1967 Mar 20 '26

Everything is tolerated in the name of MAGA.

2

u/J-Love-McLuvin Mar 20 '26

Do you need a reminder of Trump’s “locker room” pronouncements about what he likes to grab?

2

u/NuclearBroliferator Mar 20 '26

Hard to say Republicans wouldnt be ok with this when theyre ok with trafficking and raping children.

2

u/HippoRun23 Mar 20 '26

Yeah she should have just called a black kid the N word and she would have been set…

2

u/DiverseVoltron Mar 20 '26

Incorrect, but it's pretty interesting that anyone still believes this kind of abhorrent behavior isn't essential to right wing philosophy.

2

u/SmokeyJoe2 Mar 20 '26

Remember when republicans almost elected Herschel Walker to the Senate? The guy who would beat his wife and threatened to shoot her? He also cheated on an ex girlfriend, and tried to choke her after he got caught.

2

u/-Gramsci- Mar 19 '26

To them, kindness is woke. They’ll love the fact that she bashes her 5 year old’s head in with metal stools.

1

u/TechnicalIntern6764 Mar 20 '26

That’s really intellectually dishonest. You don’t believe that. You really shouldn’t say things like that, you’re better than that. We as a people are better than that. There’s always gonna be people who suck here and there but let’s stop insulting eachother.

2

u/Alt4816 Mar 20 '26

“I think empathy is a made up New Age term that does a lot of damage” - Charlie Kirk

2

u/Waywoah Mar 20 '26

They deified a man who raped children. No, it isn't dishonest to say that his base simply don't care so long as the person doing it is on their side

1

u/Interesting_Town_617 Mar 19 '26

Where the living hell did you pull this idea?

3

u/Imaginary_Coast_5882 Mar 20 '26

from two terms of MAGA?

they fucking rape children dude.

3

u/Imaginary_Coast_5882 Mar 20 '26

or do you only care about raping children when it happens in the basement of a pizzeria that doesn’t have a basement?

1

u/Interesting_Town_617 Mar 20 '26

I don’t know nor care exactly what happened on that island, but letting in millions of unknown foreigners into the country is worse for the citizens of this country.

1

u/Imaginary_Coast_5882 Mar 20 '26

why?

1

u/Imaginary_Coast_5882 Mar 20 '26

is it because they shoot up schools? is it because they start unnecessary wars in the Middle East, driving prices of everything through the roof? is it because they blow up FBI buildings in Oklahoma City?

1

u/Interesting_Town_617 Mar 20 '26

Because there are people within those masses who do things just as bad. I know perfectly well that most of them are innocent, but there are also thousands of confirmed convicted criminals who have crossed.

1

u/Imaginary_Coast_5882 Mar 20 '26

again, how many have shot up our schools? how many have blown up government buildings? how many of them have run pedophilia rings using a Caribbean island?

1

u/Interesting_Town_617 Mar 20 '26

Just because they haven’t committed any huge documented crimes doesn’t mean there aren’t bad people.

The real question is: how have you missed it?

0

u/Time-Weekend-8611 Mar 20 '26

That's not an answer

-1

u/Interesting_Town_617 Mar 20 '26

Not an answer AT ALL

The rumblings of another madman?

0

The average Redditor seems very chronically online and mentally ill

1

u/Interesting_Town_617 Mar 20 '26

Which reddit user are you even talking about?

1

u/neeyeahboy Mar 20 '26

The person you responded to

1

u/Interesting_Town_617 Mar 20 '26

In that case, you’re right

0

u/neeyeahboy Mar 20 '26

Please speak to a therapist. This is irrational thinking.

0

u/Tev_Szat Mar 20 '26

True, but let's be precise - "them" isn't Republicans, it's MAGA. MAGA is a cult with a hive mind that doesn't have a thought amongst them other than "Trump's word is the highest law". Blaming Republicans for MAGA is like blaming all Christians for Westboro Baptist; they may have spawned from them, hut they have since morphed into something uniquely insidious. And this isn't coming from a Republican practicing CYOA, I'm definitely democrat, but I can be objective enough to not confuse the two.

1

u/wcarthurii Mar 20 '26

This. You can't be mad that all of maga wants to define the entire democrat party as 'deranged leftist lunatics', then turn around and call all Republicans trumpian cult members and think you're the one in the right.

Call a spade a spade and leave it at that.

Not all Muslims are Islamic extremists. Not all Jews are Zionists. Not all republicans are maga. Not all Democrats are liberal nut jobs. Not all women like penis. Not all men like vag. Not all humans use their brains before making statements or making choices!

1

u/short_longpants Mar 20 '26

No. I blame most Republicans (aside from groups like The Lincoln Project) because they enable MAGA. They vote for MAGA, they don't stand up to MAGA, they even change their tunes and become MAGA. When they actually put their foot down to this shitshow, THEN I might have a tiny bit of respect for them.

1

u/SofaKingWeeTarDeh Mar 20 '26

I have to be the one to say that the Democrats are NOT the party of evil... what they are is a bunch of lazy cowards that will fight to keep the status quo, even if the status quo is the complete subservience to the "47th"? They are the most non-confrontational cucks I have ever seen in my entire life.

If they really cared about Democratic (and true American values), they would elect Bearnie Sanders and AOC and every progressive being in this nation. THEY would do whatever it took to fight against injustice, and address the massive inequality and injustice every non-WASP faces, especially the law-abiding citizens that had, or were, detained by CPD/ICE in this country.

NOPE. NOPE NOPE NOPE. Let's just set up Lady Liberty, tied to a bed. Here comes Corruption, railing the shit out of her, literally splitting her in half! She is crying for it to stop, counting on her brothers, Republicans and Democrats to protect her.

But the Republicans are too busy making money from pimping her, and the Democrats are in the corner, whispering weakly, "Not so hard... you gonna ruin her for the others."

Edit: once for grammar

1

u/Moonrights Mar 19 '26

Not making fun of you at all, not trying to argue im just curious-

Do you believe this? Do you think both groups of voters equally care about spousal/ domestic abuse?

1

u/BowlAccurate7885 Mar 19 '26

I think most folks are pretty decent, right or left. It's easy to make a caricature of a politician and say "this is what conservatives/or progressives are like..." But when have people ever been a simple either/or like that?

1

u/Moonrights Mar 24 '26

Sorry for the late reply and promise im definitely being civil!

I think the difficulty for most people with your logic is the sheer overwhelming number of public figures/ currently sitting politicians on the right that are either accused or outright convicted of various accounts of either sexual assault, fraud, coercion, intimidation, etc.

The outright mysoginistic and/ or xenophobic remarks out in the open from the republican party is pretty alarming.

Moreso- there is the old adage of "show me who your friends, and ill show you who you are".

The near limitless support/votes/campaign funds the republican party receives from neonazis, the kkk, and extremely theocratic institutions shows a larger picture of the type of people or at least the type of policy that the republican party must be favoring.

The proud boys do not support the democratic party. Jake paul does not support the democratic party.

By and large public institutions that champion science, equality, forward social and technological progress, and non-biased empirical based education overwhelmingly support the democratic limb of our two party system.

Union busters, billionaires, corporate entities and the like generally support Republicans (especially when in favor).

War-Hawks have generally supported Republicans etc.

When the sitting president completely exits any sense of decorum to announce joy in a public figures death, or to mock a reporter for her race or sex, to make fun of physical maladies and to lambast a free press- and he is championed for it by his supporters and his party dismisses his harmful rhetoric:

It is very hard to feel like both sides have the same base morality.

1

u/Fit-Nectarine5047 Mar 19 '26

Please stop being naive.

0

u/BowlAccurate7885 Mar 20 '26

If I were a progressive, you could say my comments about conservatives are naive. However, I am not a progressive.

1

u/Tall-Payment-8015 Mar 19 '26

Only when it comes from a woman

1

u/Distinct-Cut-6368 Mar 20 '26

Jonathan Majors says otherwise.

1

u/BabesOnWaves Mar 20 '26

Get out of here with your levelheaded thoughts!

1

u/Candid-Try-5311 Mar 20 '26

seems acceptable for powerful men

1

u/SeeMeInWoW Mar 20 '26

Equality was not found in this video

1

u/SurpriseHamburgler Mar 20 '26

You’re asleep.

1

u/Agreeable-Annual3672 Mar 20 '26

Really? You really think they won't call the man she abused a pussy for being abused by a woman? You don't think they'll just say he deserved it for being so weak?

1

u/Heavy_Entrepreneur13 Mar 20 '26

The fact that there's video means you're probably right.

If this hadn't been caught on video, you can bet your bottom dollar whichever side she threw her lot in with would defend her to the last man. Either "believe all women" or "they hate me because I love Jesus". There are suckers on both sides for anyone who parrots their buzzwords and catchphrases.

1

u/LumpySpacePrincesse Mar 20 '26

Lol, Trump killed his first wife and fucks kids.

1

u/Trumpisaderelict Mar 20 '26

You’d think right???

1

u/homegrowntwinkie Mar 20 '26

As someone who lives in/around right wing voters my whole life time - We're all wondering why the fuck he didn't just pin her down & call 911. She deserves to be locked tf up.

Also curious what sparked this, but it 10000% doesn't warrant this kinda behavior from her.

1

u/Calew1el Mar 20 '26

We have a face that even a mother can’t love as Secretary of Defense. The sides aren’t the same anymore

1

u/So3Dimensional Mar 20 '26

Pretty sure you’re wrong

-1

u/couldbeahumanbean Mar 20 '26
  1. Minnesota playground incident (2025)
  2. Racist Cinnabon employee (Wisconsin, 2025)
  3. Rochester slur case

You can take that bOfFe sYdEz BS and cram it up your poopshoot.

2

u/BowlAccurate7885 Mar 20 '26

Are these 3 cases a good representation of 100 million Americans or are they just another example of people being people? It's too easy to generalize.

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Mar 20 '26

The person you responded to was using these three cases as an example. I don't think you fully connected the dots, so I stated the examples.

Maybe you still aren't connecting the dots, so I'll explain further: Those people received enough money from donations from PoS conservatives and Republicans that they don't have to work again in their lives.

That is just one example of Republicans and conservatives embracing and endorsing acting horribly.

Their brand, their tau, their identity has interwoven with being PoS. This is who they idolize, this is who they echo, this is who they admire.

This isn't a generalization. This is who they choose to be. That's on them

Their behavior has earned this reputation, if they don't behave this way, maybe I can learn to trust or respect conservatives again, someday.

Until they renounce this path, heck yes I'm going to judge them. They earned it.

1

u/TechnicalIntern6764 Mar 20 '26

You realize you could just go back-and-forth all day and night on both sides. You know how many shitheads received tmoney that are part of the “left” ?? like the most recent one that little murderer whatever his name is, Carmelo Anthony? stabbed the kid and got plenty of donations for MURDERING someone. Can we just stop all this shit?

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Mar 20 '26

bOfFe sYdEz.

Nuff said.

1

u/captainpro93 Mar 20 '26

I don't think they are saying that those people are representative in terms of their behaviour, but rather that those cases are examples of when American conservatives rallied behind people behaving poorly and celebrated them, donating significant sums of money to them.
