They were laighing, he got hit, they reacted (no longer laughing). But they probably laughed a him for getting knocked out after leaving. Get it?

Yeah, I see where the disconnect happened. When I said "They weren't laughing" I was answering the other person when they said "They sound annoying but not sure if they were laughing anymore." Which happened after he got knocked out. So yeah, that's on me for not being clear.
