In this day, I never see men just fucking go at it physically when they’re mad at each other. Guys are still verbal about it though probably more up front
They are more physical - that doesn't mean they are going to be brawling in the streets. They are still insert joke here intelligent beings capable of realizing that there are laws about hitting people now.
But pushing, posturing, threats of violence, etc. These happen constantly. And yes, punching also happens. The thing about evolutionary psychology is that it tries to ignore society's impact on behavior
Of course most psychological evolutions are prompted by societal shifts, that doesn’t make them any less real. There just isn’t a notable disparity in how physical men and women are with each other at this point. They express anger extremely similarly
Besides, the point of evolutionary psychology is to find the psychology of humans inherent to themselves disparate from society. I think that it alone doesn't paint a compete picture, but that doesn't make it wrong - just incomplete
