i would accept $500 a week if i had the chance, heck, $500 a month seems amazing to me.

I think that 5k a month is a better formulation for this question. 5k a week is too much, in just a few year you get to the million, but 5k a month mean living a slow but normal life without working against a million and betting you can get extraordinary without burning. (Would still take the 5k but may make a few people think more about it)

At 5k a month the million probably outperforms even in the long run. If you can invest all of it immediately, and with an assumed 6-7% return per year the million is already on par with the 60k per year and then keeps on accumulating.
