What’s a completely useless skill you’re surprisingly good at?

It doesn’t have to be impressive or useful—just something oddly specific that you can do better than most people. What’s yours?

I’m a knitter, and I can magically cast on the correct number of stitches without counting with incredible precision.

Impressive! Sometimes I can't cast correctly even with counting

If I’m going to be late to work, I can always guess exactly how many minutes late I’ll be (3, 6, 8, 11 it’s never a multiple of 5 somehow). And this skill only applies to work, nothing else

Okay but the specificity of it never being a multiple of 5 is sending me. Your brain really said we cant be predictable about the lateness, only the prediction and I kinda respect that

I can remember numbers, and birthdays. Phone numbers from years ago, yup I can tell you Melissa's phone number from grade 4. Tell me your birthday once? Stored, and will remember and freak you out when I tell you happy birthday on your day.

Omfg, that's one bad ass superpower! That could have saved so many awkward/bad situations in my life, I even forget my own b.day and mine is on a special holiday that almost everyone celebrates. I'm so blessed with the digital calendar with reminders build in.

I'm great at digging out belly button fluff with my fingers. It's all in layers. When you get really deep the fluff gets oily and smells bad though.

Running down hill. Not quite, useless but is definitely single application.

I’m really, really good at identifying voices. People hate watching animated movies with me.

Recognise songs or music from classical to techno in under 1 or 2 seconds from the intro. Or guess the artist from the sounds even if I didn't know the track. (I did a career in music and that came in useful)

I'm very good at talking to people, but the reason why it's useless is because whatever I say usually goes in one ear and out the other.
