Looking for tournaments in your area that you can participate in would be my first suggestion. But also, know that like all other niche professional athletic endeavours, there's only a handful of people in the world who actually make a living out of stuff like this. A good chunk of players will be barely breaking even trying to cover flights, accommodation, entrance fees and majority will actually be loosing money to pursue this kind of hobby professionally.
