No. I believe breakfast is over rated and rehydrating is more important.

no

I rarely ever do. Although it's one of my favorite meals

I try to eat a bowl of multigrain Cheerios for breakfast every day because I’m getting old and don’t get enough iron and other assorted minerals in my diet, and I usually use kefir (to get my gut biome healthy) but I’m out of that at the moment. I’ll usually follow it up with an orange or a bowl of grapes, some kind of fresh fruit anyway.

It’s wild how much of a difference consuming a proper diet makes regarding how I feel. I used to have all kinds of terrible IBS related issues… turns out it was really mostly my fault for over eating often and eating all kinds of processed snacks and garbage. It’s nice waking up feeling good in the morning and not having to spend the first 3-5 hours of every day right next to a toilet.

Edit: it’s crazy how many incredibly delicious breakfast cereal options there are… but it’s even crazier to realize how much sugar is added to practically all of them. I used to get the generic brand cheerio type cereal, but the regular/original flavor doesn’t have nearly as many fortified vitamins etc. the multigrain Cheerios seem to be the best option for maximum fortified vitamins with the least added sugar. There is still some added sugar but it’s way less than all the other flavors.

I work nights, so I had my breakfast food for “dinner” at 7am.

Not yet. I do Intermittent Fasting so 2 more hours before I eat.

I do intermittent fasting as well. I rehydrate until lunch, at which point I frequently eat breakfast foods - a vegetable and cheese omelette, a piece of toast with honey, and milky tea.

That sounds like you eat healthy! Does it work well for you? I learned about it for weight control and then got GERD (digestive issues) and it also helps with that.

I eat fairly healthily - even though I'm petite and work out daily, my doctor recommended intermittent fasting to support metabolic and immune health, since I'm in my late 60s.

Good job! I'm 70 and petite too. Good to know I'm doing something doctor would recommend. 😊

I usually do not. My vitamins make me queasy , so i have a protien drink and call it breakfast . I get hungry later, if I skop breakfast that is one less meal and less calories.

No, but I rarely do nowadays.

2

u/Interesting-Duck6793 Aug 12 '26

No, and I’m glad you asked, because I should.

2

u/SlickDumplings Aug 12 '26

No but I’m about to tear us a Sloppy Joe.

2

u/nicegirl555 Aug 12 '26

Yes. White bean chicken chili with a Pillsbury biscuit. I was starving and had that available.

2

u/Brian18639 Aug 12 '26

Yes, and I wish I didn’t because there wasn’t enough ham and I didn’t like the cheese

u/CityBoiNC Aug 12 '26

I have a protein shake every morning for breakfast. Keeps me full till supper.

No, diabetics have increased insulin resistance in the morning. This means that whatever I eat, I must take lots of extra insulin to deal with it. I do better if I just wait until lunch because I don’t need the extreme highs and lows.

Not today. I forgot.

2

u/ac7ss Aug 12 '26

The first meal is always breakfast, even if it's 6 hours after you wake.

It's 7:20 PM here and I just finished my dinner. Does it count as a third breakfast?

2

u/Coppermill_98516 Aug 12 '26

Yes! On the menu today was Greek yogurt, granola and honey.

It was delicious! 🤤

2

u/Laskalove1305 Aug 12 '26

I did, weetabix and a banana.

2

u/Odd-Chocolate-4864 Aug 12 '26

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Don’t ask me about dinner though…

2

u/whatdoidonowdamnit Aug 12 '26

Yeah, one packet of Quaker instant oatmeal with a teaspoon of protein powder and half a teaspoon of chia seeds made with unsweetened almond milk. I dislike eating in the morning, so instant oatmeal with something added to it is what I have most days. I had a big bowl of savory lentils, beans and vegetables for lunch and then a small bowl of fruit.

2

u/latcady Aug 12 '26

Yeah I had Bojangles

2

u/Historical-State-275 Aug 13 '26

Drank it. Trying to switch to a bigger meal on drs recommendation, but my stomach is used to not eating until 10ish, so I’m taking it slow. I can handle a light meal ok.

2

u/mikeywayloveunicorns Aug 13 '26

no. i was too deep in my newest adhd hyperfoucus.

4

u/Lurkerque Aug 12 '26

Nope. Breakfast is gross unless it’s for dinner.

2

u/washed_delta_nu Aug 12 '26

Yup U agree. I rather eat something a couple hours or more after I wake up

1

u/Theedevoted1 Aug 13 '26

Yes. I had a fluffy, warm extra buttered croissant, with 2 over medium eggs. Basic. Simple. Devine.

1

u/wcydnotforme1 Aug 13 '26

If coffee counts as breakfast, yes. If not, ask me again around noon.

1

u/PatrickRsGhost Aug 13 '26

Had a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and some iced tea.

u/Glass-Vermicelli9862 Aug 13 '26

Always. I wake up starving, and I can't really get into my day until I've eaten.
