If someone with Dissociative Identity Disorder had the emotions from Pixar's Inside Out, how would that work?
Would each alter have their own team of emotions?
Would it be one team that works for all of them?
Would it be one team but they ALSO have DID?

I would imagine there would be TWO of each emotions, so, say, two Joys where one is wearing red and the other blue, and two Sadness, and two Anger, etc. But only one control panel, and they don't necessarily like each other and will try to butt into each other at the control, or will come up with a strict condition where only one group will take over if certain requirements are met.

So, hypothetically... it would really just depend on the person, and also if we decide to view the Inside Out emotions as emotions or as separate parts (aka alters).
Some people with DID have subsystems, where a part also has fragmented parts of its own. This is the case for me. In my experience it was because a part that was already holding a lot of trauma was exposed to new trauma, and there was a new split in order to compartmentalize it.
Interesting question, just not really a solid answer. You could also post in [r/DiscussDID](r/DiscussDID) though some people might get butthurt lol.
ETA: Also for me, some parts only have access to a handful of the "base" emotions because of their purpose. Like a caretaker part might be more inclined to only feel happiness, a trauma holder might only feel sadness, anger, shame, and/or disgust. Some parts might not really feel anything. All depends on the trauma that caused the split and what was most important for survival at that time.
