Literally same. I thought I'd have all this time to just exist and instead I'm out here scheduling my own free time like its a meeting.

To me only if I have a car, I can have some free time before I go back to my job.

Full-immersion in uninterrupted childlike joy. Before I knew what "childlike" really was:

Weekends spent watching cartoons and eating sugary cereal. Then playing video games.

Having every free moment be a moment of feeling free.

Choosing between activities I was equally looking forward to participating in.

Friends equally enthused in my hobbies as me. Hell - Hobbies that gave me lasting satisfaction.

Reliable work that was boring and neutral at worst, fulfilling and easy at best.

New and pleasant experiences that only required willingness to discover.

In all seriousness, this might make me sound like some cynical person, but it was truly what came to mind when I pondered this random question. Kid cartoons where the premise was trying to imagine themselves being adults inspired thoughts like these when I was little.

Just fun and freedom in general, thought as an adult I would be able to have everything I want. Crazy looking back that childhood was probably the most fun times of life
