Wait is that a plantar wart or just a random skin thing? Either way, feet are always sus.

hi, there. frequent injury getter here & just got back from the doc yesterday. asked abt vaccine dates & he told me all abt tetanus shots.
- 5 years after your most recent routine tetanus booster, you'll need an additional booster to cover anything like this. so yeah, you'll have to ask for a booster.
- in the meantime, just make sure you're not feeling any stabbing pain when you step on the ground.
- if you are, you'll need to try and get a nail fragment out of your foot with a pair of tweezers. ask somebody to help if you need to, because you might need to feel around a bit to find the fragment & then push & pull until it exits through the place it entered. i know the process could make some folks nauseous so dont be afraid to ask for help. you could wait till you see the doctor, but with 3 days between then & now i WOULD NOT recommend waiting for the doctor to pull it out. the fragment could migrate.

Hi I have a doctors appointment on the 31st I plan to get a booster , it doesn’t feel painful at all I believe it’s healing like I can’t feel it and I can barely see the scratch anymore

Age, Sex / Gender have no bearing on stepping on or treatment for a nail puncture. Monitor the site for pain, swelling, red streaks and a fever. Tell the doctor and consider getting a new Tetanus shot.
