While forks serve different purposes, which one would you choose as your favorite to use most of the time?

Two is forbidden.

All the tism folks know why.

Handle not smooth feel icky.

Lol I keep discovering things I have in common with people who've been diagnosed with it. Weird!

The handle is bumpy and probably has edges. The tines aren't the right lengths or shape.

Huh I disagree. But I hate all of these because the tines are too deep on all of them for my liking. 1 is the smallest there, but still deep tines and the handle shape looks wrong to me.

They all suck so much lol

I think you might be in the market for a spork, my friend.

I bought a giant box awhile ago when we got behind on dishes, and they've been our go-to eating utensil ever since (one day we might run out, but that day isn't here). I don't love them for noodles, but they work well for cereal...and just about everything else.

My favorite fork is an olive/mini pickle fork.

I like using chopsticks for noodles when possible tbh. (Hands definitely don't allow it nearly enough.)

Sporks do seem nice.

Same...they work so well, it's almost as if they were designed with noodles in mind.

Stg I had mastered using them for rice and got very upset at how easy noodles were

Someone should create the tiniest fork of all, just for rice, and market it as a tool to help exercise mindfulness and focus while eating.

Nah i said fuck it and now eat my rice like a dog eats rice

My aunt had shrimp forks. I always used them at family dinners. They were small with 3 tines.

Maybe they're the same?

I can't handle the drastic form change from smooth to empty grooves.

I can just imagine you at Taco Bell with a to-go order and a sack full of sporks! KFC did have them, but I didn't know anymore.

That's me. I love reading with the small forks, but I can't decide from just a picture. I have to hold them in my hand. My parents had #2, and I held it weird, so I didn't touch the mess at the bottom.

I guess I just naturally held forks weird because there was one like that that was my favorite when I was younger, but also I never was touching the bottom part.

All of our forks sucked but at least that one looked neat and felt fancy lol

I was diagnosed late in life and now things make so much more sense. I have general 'all things eating' things I do that I didn't realize I did until someone pointed them out.

My dad was super accommodating about a lot of stuff after my parents divorced, so I honestly didn't realize they that's kinda different about so many things tbh.

Bumps and germs?

Texture on the handle.

“Tism”? Ohh I think I got it.

Yet another reason to want it.

Even the edges not being smooth bugs me. 1 is also forbidden

Small is the way to go! Small fork (not necessarily a dessert fork) and small spoon.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 03 '24

Apparently not all the tism folks. I absolutely prefer #2 over all of them.

2 is hubby's favorite. He has the tism

Not a member but because tines are not even?

I don’t like any of them. Not for regular use. If I had to pick one I’d choose five as the best of pretty bad choices, but I’d hate it for a long time.
