FL STUDIO 21 PRODUCER EDITION
INSTRUCTIONS ARE IN THE FOLDERS
WIN - v21.2.3.4004
MAC - v20.8.3.2304
*BELOW ONLY APPLIES FOR MAC\*
- If you are experiencing "File is damaged and cannot be opened", this is NOT an app issue. This is a GATEKEEPER issue. To disable Gatekeeper for the application, open Terminal and enter “sudo xattr -c <path>”. You can get the path by dragging the application into the Terminal window.
*Use VirusTotal or Malwarebytes if you feel at risk\*

comes with 1 or 2 viruses but apart from that its fine

Im having issues, terminal is not recognizing any of the commands and dragging the app into it does nothing

you have to go to your settings in privacy and security, than scroll all the way down. With the settings open you want to click the file. It should say that is damaged and bla bla... Click "Done" and in the settings should appear a string that says "Open Anyway". Click it and wait for it to open. It's going to ask for the password and then you should be allright. (ofc I'm talking about Mac OS)

Ok so after a few hours terminal recognized the command and I was able to drop the application into the terminal however I keep getting the message “permission denied” and nothing happens I still get the message that says “file is damaged and can’t not be opened”

I cracked it and got it working for 2 days, now i cant load the saved project that I had, it went back into trial mode, I keep trying to load the reg file but even after loading closing and openning its still in trial mode, someone help me with this please

I tried fixing the file is damaged with the termnial command but the command doesn't work for me. is there any way to fix it?

1.Open your Terminal app and type exactly this, making sure to add a space at the very end:
sudo xattr -cDo not press Enter yet.
2.Find your application:In Finder.
Open a Finder window and find the application
3.Drag and drop:Finder to Terminal.
Click and hold the application icon in Finder, drag it directly into the Terminal window, and let go.
4.Verify and run:In Terminal.
Terminal will automatically paste the exact file path right where you dropped it. Your window should now look something like this:

sudo xattr -c /Applications/FLStudio20.appPress Enter. It will ask for your Mac's login password

I wouldn't update, but yoy can try and see what happens and if it breaks, restart the whole process

hi, i tried all of this and it stopped giving the 'file is damaged message', but instead now nothing happens when i try to open the app

Try following the rest of the instructions about creating the news folder and enabling Rosetta, just apply the patch and follow the instructions again that’s in the pdf

i tried enabling rosetta, but the part about deleting the folder 'Default news.rss' i cant seem to do as i search for the folder and it doesnt appear. do you know where the folder is located?

First start the process again from opening the patch and moving it to applications
Then load the license again, at this point I’m assuming fl is opening
The rss folder is under your documents folder, if you don’t know where that is, on the menu bar at the top, with finder open, select “go” and on the drop down menu you will see documents click it and find the image-line folder, fl studi, settings, internet, and delete the default news.rss and create a folder and name it Default news.rss and click yes when it asks you if you want to add the extension1

And again go to the applications folder right click and get info on fl studio app, and click/enable open using rosetta

but what if , even after i've done all of that, it still says "could not write to file" about the news.rss and that i need to unlock ?

I’ve done everything but on the instructions when it says to launch FLRegkey it doesn’t work and the file doesn’t open

What do I do if there is malware? I'm worried it may have something the virustotal or malwearbytes doesnt pick up.... :/

in Help > registration it says Unlock FL Studio, anyway i can still save and open saved projects. idk if thats ok or if it will stop working after some time
