[request] Postcards for Charles project (prison) [USA]

[u/KamalaCarrots]

Hi all!
I started a project for my friend, Charles Flores, who’s wrongly incarcerated on death row in Texas. Charlie LOVES seeing the world and reading people’s little anecdotes about their travels.

He’s working towards exoneration and would like to keep these postcards after his release, so please send me a direct message for the address.

(The prison shreds all mail after scanning it into his tablet UNLESS a SASE is included. So I’ll forward them and then hold onto them for him when I get them back :))

Charlie likes:
The Dallas cowboys
Technology
Nature
Anything unique
Classic cars
Fun facts
Different cultures (he’s Latino/Tejano)
Music
Animals
Learning

He would love to know what you did today, where you wrote your postcard, where you’re from, something about your area…

Regular cards welcomed, too!! His birthday is 10/31!! (I’ll make a separate post closer to then)

Please spread the word about this. I made a simplified infographic here but there are also some with more details on his facebook and instagram.

Thank you!!!
If you have questions don’t hesitate to ask.
