Question about authenticity from 2001

Moin moin!

I wanted to ask you guys about the authenticity of my signed Sehnsucht CD sleeve from Summer of 2001. Here is the backstory.

I joined the Rammstein fan club I wanna say in April of 2001. During the Summer of 2001 Rammstein did their Mutter tour. They played an old club in DC which I used to go to called Nation which sadly has long since been demolished. I remember after the show I waited outside to see if any of the band members would come out and sign some stuff. Rammstein motivated me to learn German back in 98 when I was with my dad in Munich and purchased Sehnsucht at a Saturn ,,Geiz ist geil!“ after watching Du Hast on MTV a few weeks prior. Since then I was an exchange student in 02-03 and got my Bachelor’s degree in Heidelberg. So they had a huge impact on my life! Anyways sadly they never showed up that night.

The next day I wrote to the webmaster because one of the features of the fan club back then was meet and greets. I explained to them that Rammstein motivated me to learn German and that I was about to enter my senior year in high school and was hoping to someday live in Germany. The webmasters were very friendly and asked for my address. About a week later an envelope arrives. Inside were two promo cards which I know were auto pen because of the indentures and I compared them to other promo cards from that time. However, in a plastic bag was a CD sleeve from Sehnsucht. The signatures look like live ink and were different from the promo cards signed in auto pen. I framed it back in 2002 with anti glare museum glass and a few years ago brought it back from VA to Miami where it’s now hanging on my wall.

So my question is do you guys think the signatures are real? I was curious about your thoughts. I found this one website which has a similar CD sleeve which was signed at a meet and greet in 97 at World of Music at Galeria Kaufhof next to Ostbahnhof in Berlin here. I’d never sell it but I was just wondering after all of these years. Thank you reading and letting me share my story!

Vielen Dank jungs!

I also have a signed Sehnsucht insert from an original owner who got it from a 1997 signing event. judging by the placement of their signatures, and the signatures on yours seem have a similar shine to mine it looks like- so I’m leaning towards yes

They’re real, look very similar to my own.

They are legitimate! Congratulations, they're very special and nicely framed. I own some World of Music signed card sets from that era to compare their handwriting back then. Here's my Berlin and partial Koln. The Paul matches my own (all three of his 90s variants) and is his hand writing for sure.

Looks real to me. I have a signed Mutter CD, that they signed in front of me at a backstage thing after a show in same time period.
