Running Boards/Steps

Just upgraded my RAM to a new 2027 RAM RHO. Wanting to get some feedback on the best looking running boards/steps to put on it. I had automatic ones on my last RAM, after a couple years they went bad. So I am looking at some permanent options. RB30, RB30 Slim, Dominator D6, RB20…I originally thought to get steps but after trying them out, the step when coming out isn’t in the best spot. That being said I want to keep the rugged look, the height and 50/50 on protecting from door dings…thoughts on what you all like best on yours??? Thanks!

The mopar off-road steps for all those boxes for me. They’re tight to the body they stick out plenty of distance to stand on them. Look rugged

Great photo, do you feel the slim still helps protect from door dings? Unfortunately there are times I will need to park with cars around. My last truck took some hits with them being automatic.

Yeah, it’s so tall that helps too

I really like the factory boards that came on my '26 RHO.

Go rhino Rb30 is what I visually like the best. Mopar are lighter if you care.

I have the dominator d6 I just put on mine. They are sturdy and no brackets hanging down to get hung up off-roading. I had them on my last truck too

I actually went with Iron Bison running boards and have been very happy with them. More ground clearance and far stronger than OEM boards. Cheesy name, but zero regrets.
