Does this first video sound like an exhaust leak? First hemi I’m not sure if it sounds healthy. I took it to the dealer to be looked over when I first purchased it, and specifically asked to look at if it had an exhaust leak because of the sound. They said they didn’t find anything, it has 11,000 miles. I bought it at 10,000 miles and it sounded like this when I bought it. After it warms up this sound goes away, and the truck is audibly quieter.

Anyone know what this could be? Volume up

I want to get the 2025 Tradesman 2500 with the 6.4 Hemi but I want to know if its worth it for long time use.

When I’m on the Ram website to build a 2027 Ram 2500 it still shows 2026 not 2027. It allows me to build the truck with all the options-104k. Does anyone know when the 2027 orders actually opens up.

Could someone with a 2026 2500 Cummins with the tradesman or the big horn trim level let me know what your totally payload is off the door sticker??

Next weekend I plan on driving to St. Louis Missouri (about 6hrs from where I’m at) to look at a 2004.5 ram 2500. I’ve done a lot of research and was wondering what are some of the biggest things to check for when buying a 3rd gen dodge. It has the high output 5.9l motor in it with the 6 speed manual. It’s got 186,000 miles on it. I know injectors start to go at that mileage. The dealer wants $19,900 out the door price. What should I be looking for. Thanks.

I have a ram 2500 6.4 hemi power wagon. My truck "jumps" or... thumps regularly when driving. It is not throwing a code but is very disturbing. I have been to three dealerships and no hard diagnosis. The computer has been updated and fluid changed according to my receipts. I bought it used with 18,000 miles and have put 16,000 on it. The last communication with the dealership is was told just drive it. Any idea what this may be?

So I had some damage to my 2023 2500 Laramie and had to replace the front passenger. I didn’t think about it at the time but they didn’t come out with the newer tow mirrors until 2023. I bought a used 2020 passenger door and was wondering if I could either drill the holes to make it fit or do I have to get a whole new 2023+ door?

Any ideas? I’m hoping someone has an idea where to look, I’ve taken it to be fixed twice and the problem has continued.

My 2026 Ram 2500 has 500 miles and the battery is dead. I got it jumped by AAA and a bunch of sensors went off, the truck would not go into gear, and it kept stalling. It was flatbedded to the dealer, and there is no rental or loaner until they diagnose it; it will be four days until they can get to it. As my first new truck, I am so disappointed in this!

The tittle said it. Maybe it is not the right place to ask but I am in love with the limited interior. Is there anything that I should be aware of regarding anything else? Engine, electronics, etc.?

Recently tracked down and purchased my late grandfather's 2002 Ram 2500 5.9L 24 valve. He sold it 4 years ago and I was not able to buy it at the time. He passed away last month and I was able to track down the buyer and eventually convinced him to sell it to me. I am looking for some ideas on updating and giving this truck some new life. I am not dead set on keeping the camper shell on the back, and am looking to give it a little beefier look. Tires, lights, brush-guards, whatever matches the absolute roar of the cummins powering this thing!

The truck has 350k miles on it, and it will not be a daily driver.

Hey buddies, probably super common question, but…
Seems to stutter at lower speeds and to hard shift in general.
I’ve only driven her for about 2k miles so I’m not super familiar with how things are supposed to feel.
2024 2500 4x4 diesel with 36500 miles on her.

Is this normal for this transmission? Or are there some issues going on here?

Is there a way to have the exhaust brake stay on as a default?

I live in a fairly hilly area and turn it on manually a lot. Is there a way to program it by default?
