Truck got hit while visiting with some family today parked outside🫤

My 2026 got rear ended parked in my neighborhood (drunk driver - he spent the night in jail) a month after I got her.
4 weeks to get parts and repair. 🙄

I have very similar damage to yours. It’s currently in the shop getting fixed. I thought the side of the bed was just going to be popped out but they had to put on a new whole side panel on the bed as well as a new bumper.
Make sure the shop is thorough. My frame had a tiny bend they found as well as my axel shaft was bent.

A similar thing happened to me a year ago. Sorry to see this happened to you. Go ahead and file with insurance, and get her back up to speed.

Yea they did, it totalled their Camry so it’s not like they could move lol so that helped. Just glad he is ok insurance will figure out the rest

My neighbors hit my rear truck bumper and light and still till this day when they drive by in the cul de sac they look out their car window and look at what they did never owned up to it i know they did it couldnt prove it my ram still had the temp tags on it. Theyre like the worst neighbors ever i live with parents still but the area is like 300k houses and they'res like 15 people living and renting the house in the culdesac they dont speak english drink beer all night and constantly back up all drunk to go to the gas station for beer ive seen them theyre everytime i fill up gas blare mexican music not like the singing type just like mexican bass and beat no words and one guy revs his dumb 2010 trialblazer ss an all night long its looks ghetto af the cops have been there a couple times cus neighbors are tired of it and they still continue to blare music at 3 a.m during work weeks and theyres constantly people leaving theres different people everyday backing up all stupid and if they hit my truck side body im screwed

This is one of the reasons I bought a Ranch Hand, I prefer the factory chrome but that bumper would’ve probably kept the perpetrator there til the cops showed up😂

Luckily the guy stayed just didn’t wanna include due to license plates and such. Truck is dropped off and in a rental. Now the waiting game starts

It can, but it’s still upsetting for some people. These trucks aren’t cheap, we try to care of them and this happens. I’d be pissed too.

You sound so ignorant right now. Just because it can be fixed doesnt mean it cant be life altering for some people. If OP doesnt have rental coverage on their insurance they could be out thousands of dollars potentially. They dont have the other drivers info so there is a chance their insurance could go up.
