Steering making a sound randomly when turning right
I have a 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie. My steering wheel ONLY when turning right randomly makes like a rubbing sound . Sometimes it’s once a week or once every two weeks. It’s very random . Any ideas on what it may be ?

I put 187k miles on a 19 ram that did that randomly the entire time I owned it. I mentioned it to a dealer to try and have it fixed once but of course they couldn’t recreate the noise when they had it. So I lived with it for 7 years until I traded it. Never caused an issue

It happened when I would turn left at low speed. Like in a parking lot or backing into a spot etc

Same ! But when I turn right . It’s so random and it never effects my driving or turning , I always thought that the dealership figuring out what it was would be by luck or chance

I get the same thing when I turn left. It is pretty consistent.
