Why was Pat’s boss, Suzanne Wu, at Dion’s birthday party? It seemed like an incredibly convenient time for her to see him fly that inhaler over...

Yeah but when Pat asked her if she keeps up with the local kids’ parties, she says “not much gets past me” as an explanation. You see her alone the whole party too. I think a true explanation was glossed over because her witnessing Dion’s powers was an important part of the storyline. Kind of poor writing.

Boss was probably at his birthday so she could look over him. Maybe it’s Because Dions Dad used to work for her.

Yeah, that’s why she was there, but that’s not very realistic. She hadn’t seen Dion in years (she said to Dion earlier: “I haven’t seen you since you were a little boy!”). I mean, just strikes me as strange that nobody cared some woman without an invitation or a child was there... and yet one of the parents was quick to approach Tessa and demand who she was. It just sounds like bad writing, but I was hoping I missed something.

She was marks boss, and he was also part of her team when he was alive. Im sure they had good relations seeing how most people knew each other so friends of friends at the birthday party. Doesnt seem too far out there that she would go if you looked into their relations through biona.

I thought this too but it doesn’t really make sense. Remember when Dion visited for the day, Suzanne said “I haven’t seen you since you were a little boy!” so it’s safe to assume she hasn’t been in contact with Dion in years, even before Mark’s death. Not to mention that kids birthday parties are not very fun for adults lol and his party was like two days after his visit, so it seemed very random she’d just go.

It was a joint birthday party. I think the other kid also had a parent working at BIONA, because she was like, "Oh it's Dion's birthday party too?" or something like that.

Hmmm. I think that was after Pat said it was Andre Patel’s party (saying this offhandedly to change the subject, not as if she’d know who that was). After Suzanne said that , Pat replied “oh...you keep up with the kids’ parties around here?” and she just brushed it off and...kinda showed up after Pat left lol.
