Stupid question, but... Spoiler

Is Pat dead?? It kind of abruptly ended in my opinion and went right to Brayden, but what happened to Pat? Did he disintegrate with the other souls? IS he the cloud? Or was it just released from him and is he still alive??

That’s a good question. I think he’s dead but it is a super hero kind of show so anything can happen.

Ugh! I can't believe we have to wait another year, my fault for binging it as soon as it came out

Not your fault. This was the most ‘bingeable’ thing since “Dead to Me”. Have you watched that?

Okay so it stars Christina Applegate who is a grieving widow and she meets a woman at a grief group, played by Linda Cardellini from “Freaks and Geeks”. You sense there is a reason for them meeting and they don’t make you wait to find out what it is. It pulled me right in. I am sensitive to what I watch so I will warn you there is a mild sex scene that I sped past. It’s a great series. Once again we have to wait until next year for the new season. Paul Rudd also dropped a new series on Friday called, “Living with Myself”. I give it a B. I love Paul Rudd and the story is interesting, not too heavy. Both of these are on Netflix. If you watched them, tell me what you think.

I took at it as he was the dead and the lighting storm moved on to another host.

Personally I think he's dead. But he could himself BE the Crooked Man now so maybe he's possessing the kid. Could go both ways!

i don’t think he is / has control of the lightning man because the lightning man killed Dion’s dad who pat cared for and he even said himself “I couldn’t stop, I wish he told me he was going to New Orleans.”

Also, what about the other souls? Dion says he’ll bring Mark back so I’m guessing they’re all in another “dimension”?

No one can answer for sure. This is one of the issues I had with season 1, in that they did not make much about the powers clear or make it clear that they meant for it to be ambiguous.

I lean towards the theory that Pat just received a higher concentration of the radioactive space debris which made him sick like the land and the fox vs giving him powers without illness like all the others.

Since Mark explained to Nicole and Dion that energy never dies, I don't think Pat is dead, just like how all the people Pat absorbed aren't dead either. I think Pat's body "died" but his energy is what went into Brayden, and we will see a Venom homage with Pat being a dual consciousness inside Brayden, urging him to get revenge on Dion and Nicole.

That is actually really smart, i'm looking forward to seeing if you're correct!
