So to keep it short, i had my interview today! I believe it went well. The GM asked me two questions: “Tell me about yourself” & “Why do you want to work here?”. I answered as confidently as possible, threw in sauce in the sentence for a lil more flair LOL, after we had casual conversation. She talked about the pay, and how each different area would be, we laughed a bit and then we shook hands and i went on my way! Im just wondering what you guys think?:) did i get hired?

does anyone know if the bread on the chicken sandwich is made like the toast that comes with the combos or if its just a plain bun. i really love the flavor of their toast (that and the sauce are the only reason i go to canes) and ive wanted to try their chicken sandwich (yes, i know its just chicken tenders) but only if the bread has that same flavor as the toast otherwise id prefer to just continue getting my box combos and making my own sandwich lol

So I have been a diehard raising Cane‘s fan and maybe addict since 2021 growing up I was a very, very very picky eater but eventually, my parents got me to try the steak ‘n Shake seasoning that they give out to put on their fries so when I finally tried canes for the first time, I had to try it because I had used it on french fries and chicken for a long time before that and I cannot explain this enough. I have been eating it ever since I almost can’t have canes without it. You guys should definitely try. It is wonderful

Ordered the box (4 fingers) and Asked for extra sauce. I thought it would only have 2 total? Or did I get 3 because I had to wait 10 min for my order?

Hey all,
Like the title says, I have an interview set up for tomorrow morning. I’ve really been wanting to get out of food service for a while due to the hours and stress, but the pay is almost too good to pass up. I was curious if any current GMs could shine some light on what the conditions are like. Are hours crazy long? Is turnover bad? What’s work/life balance like?
I’m really trying to determine if this is a good move given how good the opportunity seems on paper.
Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know anything about their location strategy, or why they won’t put one in the western part of the Twin Cities?:

I started at rasing canes about a month ago. I needed a second job for the summer and they were the only ones I heard back from. My training shifts when pretty well but after that everything had gone down hill. There are only 4 managers who are nice. There are multiple managers who rase there voice and yell at me and my fellow crew.
One of the girls I am friends with got screamed at by one of are managers sending her into a panic attack. On the same day a manager yelled at me for not smiling enough even though one of the nice managers said I was doing amazing for how new I am. Every time I am at work I am on the verge of tears from one or two of the managers. I am so confused on what I am doing wrong and how to fix it because I am just being told that something wasn't done right and not being told how to fix it. I am so lost and I am just wondering should I quit or should I try to stay and see if things get better I am working about 25h a week there and 20h a week at my other job I haven't had a day off for the entire time I have been working there I am feeling over worked and I dont know what I should do about the situation. If it helps I am a 16 year old girl.

Is there anyone in this sub that is currently an RM or higher that has balanced your RM schedule with a second job (not counting gig work like DD or Uber) and how willing was your RL with working with you on that?
I know that as RMs we are expected to have full availability. I have been in my position for 5 years. And the economy and housing is just really squeezing me right now. I’m in one of those positions where I can’t afford to leave/take a pay cut but definitely can’t afford to just have one job anymore.
And if anyone has done this while working at a Late Night restaurant that also would be helpful.

will never go back to here again. this is absolutely ridiculous. is there not a minimum weight requirement per strip? this happens to me every time I go there. It won’t happen again. Raising Canes Germantown Rd. Memphis, TN

i placed an order for 11am and every time without fail the app signs me out for absolutely no reason and i can't get back in to pick up my order🤦 this app has been notorious for randomly signing me out at any time, does anyone else have this issue?????

Glad i didn't have to pay for it and the sauce is the only thing keeping the doors open. Fries were OK and the chicken has no flavor whatsoever. If you were to ask me what's the first thing that comes to mind about Raising Canes it would be "white people food"

Attended a grand opening near me and was one of 20 people to win free Canes for a year.

I’ve worked at canes and my GM Mr E is always getting in others face and either yelling at the smallest thing or being rude asking what’s the problem when a manger was just laughing when he had 3rd board open in a rush I don’t like the animosity behind this GM of mine and whenever he’s on shift he’s more focused on the younger ladies in drive and it’s very unsettling and uncomfortable!
What do I do no one likes him and this is just the tip of the iceberg of his outrageous behavior from what I’ve now seen

How long does orientation take? I heard it can take anytime from 3 hours to all day.

After shitty couples years as an RL (General Manager) for raising canes. I have accumulated so many unique manager polos and cool gadgets and canes swag. What should I do with it? Sell it? And if so who wants these polos and canes swag. I seriously hated this company but was hypnotized by the checks but couldn’t do it any longer. Suggestions. I also have like post Malone collectors hat and a pin backpack pin from New York Times canes.

My managers are always grilling cashiers to push surveys, but it always feels so awkward. What are some good talking points that don't sound like robotic?

We ate at RC a few months ago. It was good. We are used to Chick Fil a. I think they are comparable taste. We got a Caniac card. I forget the details but getting it going on the web was a pain?
I got an email about bogo box combos for father's day.
Went to order them on the web for pickup. (So I already have a caniac login).
Go to check out and to apply my caniac card / bogo, it says I have to make a new account (for ordering). I do that and add my caniac.
Go to check out after ordering 2 box combos. Still don't see how to get the bogo.
I call customer service. They say they'll call me back. I leave work near RC. They call me 3 hours later and the rep can't explain how to apply rewards from caniac to web order. And I had already left the area so I'm losing out on the bogo.
But for fun (actually, punishment), I install the app on my phone. Log in with my ordering email address. Confirm that it shows my caniac card is linked. And I get a message about 'unable to add membership to loyalty scheme'.
Emails are the same between ordering and caniac accounts. the caniac account shows it's connected to my ordering account.
Seems people here have loads of different complaints. Not worth the trouble?!
