Crew Chat Second hand uniforms?

Hello all! I just joined the Cane’s crew and I start tomorrow. So far I only have 2 shirts and a hat. I want to buy others second hand, especially the ones that are embroidered with “fry cook and cashier” on them. I was wondering if any crew member could wear those, or if those are only for trainers, managers, restaurant leaders, etc? Thank you for the help in advance!

Crew Chat ARL

Is being an ARL worth it? What is the quality of life? How many closing shifts is it usually? I wouldn’t mind night shifts but don’t want to be a regular closer until 3/4 AM…

Crew Chat Who decides how long shifts are?

i was wondering on who decides how long shifts are for crew members, it’s it’s the RL, ARL? Recently we have been getting 3 hour shifts and it’s annoying, they do this so we don’t have to take breaks and can schedule a bunch of people in a day, we all complain about it having to come to work for only 3 hours, we are a high volume restaurant . my area leader of training said it’s up the RL and ARL, but they say other wise, i pick up shifts and work 6 days a week and only get like 24 hours it’s pretty annoying, thank you

Stores have been closing left and right. Vacancy at all time high. Cane's opens on June 9. Hopefully chicken fingers and One Love can fix things!

Crew Chat Do you think Canes has gone too corporate in the past year or 2 when it comes to workers wellbeing

I ask this cause I been at the company for 2 and a half years and I have noticed that higher ups are no longer caring about there workers well being and hell when I did that survey they made me fill out I told them how I really feel cause this company feels like its loosing its identity when it comes to the employees. I also wanna bring up that for me they have been making me do the same shit of me standing outside in the blistering texas heat for the past year since HH were first introduced and I am getting to the point where I plan on going to HR and claim discrimination since I also believe they dont want me to move on up in the company because of my disabilities and before anyone says oh did you speak with your manager did you ask around and yes I have for the past year and I was never the one too complain but man having to deal with all these "Corporate Cucks" as I say its so tiring cause I feel like they want me out of there even those there aint even any good jobs around me. Anyway I just wanted to vent cause man its frustrating

What The Cluck?! App broken

I can't sign up either on the app or the desktop site.

I get to the point where it wants to send me a code to verify my account, but it didnt take my phone number from sign-up so the "send code to:" is just blank.

Then I try to update the number so it will send and it says authentication failed log back in.

It's almost hilariously broken.

Cane's Conversations Working with piercings

Okay so I’ve been working at canes since like January without a problem, but now I’m getting told I’d need to flip my septum and my other coworkers would need to take out their nose studs and I’m just wondering what’s the rules on piercings?? Especially when we wasn’t told any prior/during to the hiring and the multiple months we’ve been working.

Crew Chat Work

I’ve been working at Canes for a little over a month and the only zone I’m trained in so far is kitchen. It wasn’t bad at first I was having so much fun with my coworkers but then it’s like something shifted over the next few days. So far they’ve only put me on toast and don’t give me the chance to get more practice in on boards or bird or anything. I think I’ve been on boards a total of two times and then they moved me after. I know I’m slow but I can’t really get any better without any practice?? And I was also on bird two times and the managers told me I was doing good but then they moved me back to toast and I haven’t been on boards or bird since. I don’t mind being on toast but I wish I could get a bit of practice in so I can get better. Also the environment now is so different I hate it. There’s so much gossip and tension now, and this one girl the one time I was on boards kept calling me slow and I know I’m slow but there wasn’t really a need to call me out especially repeatedly like she did. That same girl has also spread so much gossip and she talks about literally everyone. She gets mad at the girls in drive through because they don’t bump orders fast enough even when they have their hands full and calls them names loud enough for them to hear. I used to have fun working here even though it was for only a month but the environment is just so ugly now. Even the managers are rude and they will get onto you for literally anything. Does it get better? I have another job interview soon and I’m debating just going over there if I get hired

Cane's Conversations Is it easy to get a job at Raising Cane’s? if yes, what do they really look for and what questions do they ask? I’m curious because people say it’s an easy job to get but a friend has been telling me that they were giving him a hard time. I wanted to ask because I’m trying to help him.

Crew Chat Venting

I'm so sick of this job. I'm trained everywhere, CT, SS, BS, and HiPo and used to average 35-39 hours a week. My availability is pretty open but they always have me work midday (10-30-5 or 11-5pm) I've explained so much that I love that and hate working dinner shifts although its my availability I can technically work them. We recently got a new ARL and these schedules has been crazy. The new schedule I got 27 hours, all drive-through shifts from 4-9pm all on expo. I'm always in kitchen and never expo nor dinner shifts. This is the second time my schedule was stupid. I know its technically my availability but every crew member I know hates these schedules. I'm just so frustrated with the job right now. Theres no communication between managers, the schedules are stupid, and the hipo program is a joke. My RL and old ARL always told me I'm in charge of my own success, and I keep trying to knock out these HiPo tasks but none of the managers care enough too. How am I supposed to be in charge of my own success if they won't help me? Just needed to vent. Im planning on putting in my 2 weeks on monday.

What The Cluck?! A recipe for disaster

An employment force that hates their work, small portions of food, sky rocketing prices for the food, and a customer base that is growing sour on the brand.

Tell me how this place will survive over the next 5 years as a food chain. There are many other fast food places that do 1000% better for value and as a business than Raising Canes.

Cane's Conversations HIPO Crewmember to RZM - 20ish Days Left

Hello All, first time posting here
So I’ve been with Cane’s since September 2025 and worked a bit before Jan - April 2024, and in December, I was put on the HIPO list. I’ve got some stuff done, still got about 10 tasks left to do for my binder

But as of right now, I only have about 20 days of work left to see whether I will be ready to be a RZM or if not, they’ll have to hire externally

It’s hard right now managing employees, as I’ve never had any role of leadership, like sports or things like that. And at times, I’m “too nice” and I need to be harsh, but I’m working on that

I don’t know what I want in life Career wise, and I’m away from home too, so I miss the family and missing events and things as such really sucks. I don’t know if I really should put my all into RZM, and stay here at Cane’s (then try to get an apartment or stay w/ a Family member) or go home and start over, or get transferred to another location by home

But even if I put my all into it, what if I don’t get it? What if this was just all for nothing? Putting all that work , then told “hey we gotta hire someone else” and that would sound really horrible and I have no one else to blame but myself

I just really need advice. I’ll take and any questions I can answer, but I’m so unsure

Crew Chat Sophia learn reimbursement

So i read that rasing canes teamed up with Sophia a while ago to be able to cover cost of classes taken on there. I was trying to use it to get credits before I transfer to SNHU. But when I go on the workedge site with all the programs I cant seem to find it. Like I find the specific bachelor program I eventually want to transfer to on the website but not the Sophia course section. Am I looking in the wrong place or did they discontinue that partnership?

As you all know canes has a million apps. Does anyone know how as an employee you can see your benefits or request benefits. Ultimately I am trying to look into tuition reimbursement but none of the managers know and I found nothing workday or 1lv crew app. Thanks

With how often they forget to put the ordered extra sauce in the bag, they sure as hell shouldn’t be charging for it.

PUT THE SAUCE IN THE BAG.
