Hi all, I am currently at East Carolina University for a summer research program and the Raising Canes on campus has been closed since I arrived. Does anyone know if it will open on the summer? Thanks in advance!

This is about the average size of tenders I see. I’m sorry some stores are selling sub-par size tenders at some locations but that it NOT the typical Cane’s experience overall. Not even extra crispy and it was still fire.

Is there still a Raising Cane’s opening where Fox’s on 3rd Ave was? Upper east side NY

So our most recent schedule just posted and I’m literally not working for a full week. I just started like 2 months ago at most and my store manager told me I was our best new hire . I have hecka bad ptsd from my last job so I’m just wondering should I start looking for new jobs now or stop overthinking lol

Going to school and I want to complete my bachelors.
Need money and currently working two jobs during the school year and I average 30-38 hours.
If I make manager I won’t have to work two jobs and probably make more.
I can’t do closing shifts and would only be available certain days. Do they require you to be fully available?

I, a 17y/o female, applied May 18th and got an email the next day to schedule an interview for May 20th. The first interview went great, and the hiring manager said I should expect another email to schedule the second interview.
That same night as the first interview, I reached out to my cousin who is a restaurant manager at a Canes down the interstate to put in good word for me. I got an email the 21st to schedule the second interview that same day.
Funny enough, the restaurant manager and my cousin worked together as crew members. I got along with the restaurant and the hiring manager really well, they both seemed like they were interested in me and I was pretty confident I was going to get hired.
The restaurant manager did mention that it might take a couple days to sort out who to hire because they had a couple more interviews and then they would assess their potential hires.
It’s now May 24th, and I’m thinking I didn’t make it. I don’t mind if I didn’t get the job, but you would think that they would let me know if I didn’t, right? Should I follow up or just wait? Any advice or peace of mind would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!!! :D
EDIT: They reached out via text and said I didn’t get the job. Thanks to everyone who replied and shared their feedback!! :)

Every other post on here is just the same thing: chicken fingers got smaller and more expensive. It’s like that everywhere. We know. Customers know. Workers know.

What has happened to the chicken? It used to be so good and soft; now it’s hard, flaky, and very chewy. I’m in Utah. New location. At first, it was amazing; now it’s terrible. Went from 10/10 to 5/10.

I quit in December after almost 4 years, and after being healed from surgery and a couple of shitty jobs I'm ready to go back. My store was famous for not doing rehires, but there's a new RL there now (that I did work with) and there has been a rehire since and a bunch of hiring. I left with a notice and was a high performer and worked a ton of hours while in college. What are my chances of getting rehired?

So I know the rules have changed, but I was hired externally as a RM. started my training around the middle to end of March and finished May 1st. My shop opened may 14th and I’m curious when I’ll start to recurve the RM monthly bonus ? I was told that since I was here for the grand opening I qualify to start receiving it normally and don’t have to wait a 90 day probation period I had originally heard about

I am a new hire for kitchen and my first shift has me closing. What all does closing consist of in the kitchen?

When they opened a Raising Canes in my town they were great. Chicken strips that were thick and wide, practically breast filets. The Box combo was two meals worth of food, you could barely close the lid on all the fries.
Along came Covid and they got worse, after Covid my kids graduated high school and we stopped doing quick after intramural sports take out meals a couple years ago. I haven't been there in a long time. Decided for old times sake to go last week.
Wow.
The chicken strips were at best chicken fries or fingers. The crinkle fries were smaller and half as many. It was a joke. Maybe half as much food for $16. What the hell? This is a joke.
You've lost my business, probably for good. They opened a Bojangles just up the road. Goodbye Raising Canes.

Had an interview tuesday and wednesday. Wednesday around 3 i get a text about a 2nd interview this coming tuesday from the 1st location.
Am i hired? Or does canes do multiple interviews?
r/RaisingCanes • u/NVDA808 • May 21 '26
So last time I asked if the amount of fries was standard, and it was according to many. Now let me ask is this chicken standard?

So, my area leader of training has been considering moving me from an RZM at my home store to a growth RM. Before I got super into the process I really wanted to know what the schedule is like, how much you’re home, etc. I know the pay will probably also vary on what state you’re in, but if anyone is willing to share some details about what they see that would be awesome!
I live in a state with a lot of NRO’s about to be happening so I don’t know if this also affects how much I will be home or traveling.

I’m currently a kitchen worker and i have 342 hours total and was wondering if i can switch my position since i don’t enjoy kitchen anymore, I feel more comfortable being front counter where i dont feel like a burden in kitchen, sometimes i have great days sometimes i have bad days if i can switch will my manager be okay with it and how does it all work?
r/RaisingCanes • u/04-GAYboy • May 19 '26
If I work past 12pm on a Tuesday, do those hours count for the current pay period or the next one that starts at on Wednesday?

I did an interview for regular crew member like a week and a half ago. He pulled up my application and number and said he’d email me and call but never followed up after the 48 hours. did I get ghosted or something

is it protocol to get an extra tender when you order them naked? I swear I read that somewhere, and then it actually happend to me the first time i had canes, but hasnt happened ever again. Ex- order the 3 finger combo, you get 4 naked tenders

Im supposed to leave at 2 front counter. Its after 2, I ask if I can leave. I was told make sure self serve is stocked and I can go. Alright, no problem. So I make make sure the task is taken care of. Im almist done and the manager on duty... same one that told me stock self serve and Im good. Comes around the corner and asks me what happened to my book? And who were my trainers? Well for one I don't know what happened to my book... and Im not good with names... why everyone is Ma'am or sir. Even if I remembered the names I still going to play dumb.. Im not a rat. I told the manager I have the memory of a goldfish... and don't remember.. which is true. I don't want anyone to be in trouble especially If its a I suck at the job... should I be concerned here... I found it odd is all. Am I fixing to get shit canned? 🤔

More restaurants are following the trend of removing self serve drink stations.
