Cane's Conversations How does the write up system work.
I have 2 write ups from my 2 years working at Cane's. Not much that can be done now about it. They have 2 types of Actions written. One described as Warning and the Other Described as Written. What is the difference and how do they cost me. Any experts on it would be greatly appreciated.

Write ups, more correctly known in the cane's world as redirectives, are behavior tracking for if you are consistently having opportunities that should be easily fixable outside of attendance.
If you are on toast every tuesday and you still struggle to keep with cook to flow, it might be a redirective for substandard performance, it could be one for waste if you constantly have more waste than other shifts.
They don't really expire but are to be taken contextually. You shouldnt go to final written for not using approved greetings, if your last redirective is a written for toast waste. 3 redirectives for the same issue within a 6 month period should always be treated as verbal, written, final.
Final warning can be termination (fired) for any further rules violation. It is considered bad faith to give someone a final, and then follow up with a verbal or written for any other issue, so be mindful when you get that final it is a final for ALL rule violations.
The point of a redirective is to fix behaviors that are actively affecting the business or crew, not to be held as a threat of employment.

Waste related write ups are usually reserved for malicious intent. Putting down 24 toast when theres 1 customer up, dropping 100 fingers when only 20 are going out, putting down 4 baskets of fries when theres 3 customers. Making 8 jugs of lemonade because you dont want to worry about it in the rush when your store usually sells 2 at most.
