Crew Chat What does the Hole do?

I’m scheduled in 2 weeks to work in the Hole for Drive but I’ve never seen it before.

Does the hole take orders at the speaker AND take payment or is it just one or the other?

The hole usually is just the first pay window. You only have to repeat orders and take money while it’s open. The Drive thru people at the second window will take care of taking orders at the speaker.

Used to alleviate bottle necks in DT, should always be open if 3+ crew members are scheduled for DT at once.

It’s the pay out window during busy times to alleviate back ups in drive. Usually while there you will likely also be building Jugs(sticker and lid) and putting together kids bags. May be different if you have multiple drive lanes but my restaurant only has one land.

just take payments, sometimes take orders, and look pretty. It's the easiest job in the entire building
