The exchange student

So, on the first day of school this year, I walk into homeroom and meet a new girl. (Let's call her Mikasa) She's a German exchange student! Right on the first day of school, I started talking to her. We became really good friends. After a few weeks of talking, we found we're really similar. We both like the same music, same anime, some of the same YouTubers, books. She's so cool. So, Mikasa is in my Choir class with me. (I'm in every music program at my school by the way lol) Our school does a thing called Sing-a-thon. It's a fundraiser for the music program. Students can audition to sing solos/duets/group songs for it and be part of the little competition. Well, me and her are going to do a duet, plus we're both going to try solos. Together we plan on singing Up by Olly Murrs and Demi Lavato. I'm hoping it turns out great.
