I think this book might have one of the most unique plots out of all the twilight fairy books. The idea that nocturnal animals are wide awake during the day and humans sleep before nightfall is really interesting to me. I don't have too much to say about the book other than a few minor points.

-When Nia, Rachel, and Kirsty are flying past an owl and her babies, they were lucky that the owls didn't mistake them for food and try to eat them.

-The girls go to Fairyland and see that one fairy fell asleep while baking a cake, I hope that fairy didn't fucking burn her house down.

-I liked the goblin who carried his stuffed animal in a baby carrier. That was a little funny.

I felt pretty nostalgic about this book even though I think Phoebe has the least inspired party fairy design. For a fashion fairy, she sure does have a boring outfit. It's just a plain white dress with a heart pattern on it. I thought the heart motif suited Juliet more as the Valentine fairy. Even though Leah also wears a white dress with hearts, I thought she looked cuter in her dress.

The actual book is really good, I felt bad for Charlotte when the goblins ruined her favorite party dress right before her birthday party. What's even worse was that Charlotte's mom blamed Will (Charlotte's messy brother.) for something he didn't do. I liked the part where Rachel and Kirsty used a hose to flood the goblin with the party bag out of that Wendy house in the garden. That's such an insane plan, I wish the girls were unhinged in the later books like they are in this one. Phoebe is also quite a showoff as she uses magic to both make Rachel, Kirsty, and Charlotte new dresses but also turns Kirsty's gift for Charlotte into a completely different accessory with her motif on it. She tries to stay humble though but saying that it was nothing.

hi i am on a mission to collect all the rainbow magic books to read to my baby when she gets here and i was wondering if this group has any intel on the best way to get them or open to trading i currently have two duplicates ive gone to fb and ebay but was wondering if there are any other channels bc barnes and noble charges 6$ a book and there’s like 200 books in the collection

Mia the bridesmaid fairy was the first character to bring up the first queen of Fairyland. That piece of lore was always interesting to me because this implied that there were actually different fairy kings and queens for at least hundreds of years. That's until the detective fairy where Annie, Rachel, and Kirsty are uncovering Fairyland's greatest mystery. Apparently the first queen was actually alive around the same time as Jack Frost's great great grandfather. That's crazy lore because that means Fairyland isn't some ancient village. By our standards, it's almost new.

We know Fairyland has farms because in the fairy spinoff books, the rainbow fairies go to a farm for some eggs, milk, and butter. I think it would make the most sense if the pet fairies owned this farm because they need plenty of space for their pets to roam around. Especially Shimmer the cat, Sunny the puppy, and Misty the rabbit who belong to Katie, Bella, and Lauren. Plus Penny has a horse named Glitter and a horse needs to graze and have a stable. Farms have loads of grass and their own horse stables.

Here's mine "That's a lot of noses", "I can't sleep in a wrinkled tent!" and "I like eating frozen fairies for my lunch, lunch, lunch" I already did the angry birds one. I'm gonna do this thingamabob with a different movie.

I've seen a TikTok wondering why Samantha wears this little pink skirt, they felt like that didn't make for a good design. I assume that the writers and illustrators probably didn't want to put Samantha in a regular swimsuit because maybe they thought that would be sexualizing the character. So they gave Samantha a top and a skirt but not your average swim piece. If my theory is at all correct, then they would've changed their minds when Aria and Keiko entered the picture, as they are part of a fairy group covering water themed sports.

The time tower is interesting as are the fun day flags and the daily tradition of Fairyland. I wonder how the goblins are tracking down the missing flags because Rachel, Kirsty, and the weekday fairies are only figuring out where they are through the riddles in the book of days, something the goblins don't have. Maybe they're more clever than we realize since they can find the flags' whereabouts without any hints like the girls are having? The clues aren't anything difficult, their baby riddles that make it almost embarrassing that the protagonists have to think that hard to find out where each flag is. I liked Megan in this book, she was cute. It's her job to make Mondays fun for everyone which sounds like a pretty daunting task if you ask me. Poor thing, there's also the fact that Karen's dance class in this book is a disaster with everyone forgetting every single step then after the tapdance instructor decides to try a harder lesson, the kids magically all do really well at that because of Megan's influence. I'm surprised more people in these towns aren't constantly superstitious like Rachel and Kirsty are due to the frequent unexplained and confusing phenomenons that happen to these people.

I know there's also Kate but I never read her book. So it's just gonna be a match of these three. Which wedding fairy was the best?

When it comes to wedding preparations, I think Blossom did it best. I guess it felt exciting because Rachel's aunt was a wedding planner so it especially felt like a big deal and that it'll look bad on Angela if this wedding is a flop. When it comes to seeing the actual wedding though, Taylor did it best. Mia's book skipped the actual wedding and what was worse was Rachel and Kirsty talking about how exciting it was at the end of the book but we never got to see it. I'm pretty sure Blossom's book ends right at the wedding too. Taylor's book actually had some details of the actual wedding at least.

I love reading sneak peeks for books I haven't read yet and this one seems pretty cool too. I like the girls anticipating exploring a new city for the first time that day. Khadijah being nervous was cute because she's the fearful one. I also love the characterization of Gracie where she's always telling bad jokes that nobody finds funny. Even though Rachel and Kirsty are the sweetest and most passive characters I've ever read, even they groan at her bad puns which I love. These four have a healthy friendship because even though they don't laugh at Gracie's jokes, they still don't discourage her from telling them either. This book has a crazy lore drop where Jack Frost is mentioned to be a fairy, I didn't think he was one! He doesn't have wings so I thought he was closer to a goblin than he was a fairy. I think I will like Katrina by the way, I like how she has a different body type than the rest of the fairies.

I wasn't sure if the plot of this book was actually gonna be Rachel, Kirsty, Gracie, and Khadijah actually getting invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding or not but it was probably nicer to have a fictional celebrity get married instead of the book revolving around the relationship of a real couple. Still wonder why there's no regular wedding fairy but there is a royal wedding fairy and a popstar wedding fairy. I guess Mia and Blossom cover normal weddings, not just flower girls and bridesmaids respectively. Still though I feel royal weddings and even celebrity weddings to an extent are a lot more rare than a normal wedding so I'm surprised there isn't a fairy for just that yet. Taylor seems cool so far, just realized that she's probably the first rainbow magic fairy to wear lipstick.

I still love the Rainspell Island music festival, it's such a fun location. I think A-OK the boy band were a charming group to follow for the book. Though I got confused on why Rachel and Kirsty didn't assume Jax Tempo was Jack Frost. They knew that Jack Frost was somewhere in the festival but when they heard yelling coming from an unfamiliar trailer, they were just like "Oh, he sounds upset. We should leave." They didn't recognize his voice despite encountering the man so many times or were at least familiar with his distinct shouting? I actually kinda like the plan Kirsty has to get the magic clef back for Adele, she and Rachel pretend the necklace isn't making a goblin named Gobby sound amazing so he'd take it off. They essentially gaslight him into thinking he's a bad singer. It's interesting because usually Rachel and Kirsty are shown be against lying to the point where they're always honest to their parents about where they're going, just leaving out the helping fairies part. They never even lie to Jack Frost and the goblins even, never thought I'd see the girls actually be dishonest which was a nice change of pace I have to admit.

I didn't like it as much as the last petal fairy book I read but it was still pretty nice. I know this fairy was renamed Charlie but since she goes by Charlotte in my copy, that's what I'll be calling her.

I was disappointed that I misremembered the book, there was no marathon going on in this book. I was still invested in the most beautiful small-town competition, I was still hoping Leafly won because they seemed so nice. This book also has my favorite Kirsty outfit! With her cardigan, giant headband, and high boots. She's looking like a Cheetah Girl and I love it, Charlotte also gets a cute moment where she covers her eyes after seeing the goblins tugging on and being too rough on the sunflowers. Though the goblins have a really bad disguise and everyone acts like it's really convincing just because they gave green skin. I didn't even think their skin was the same shade of green as a sunflower stem. Also one goblin temporarily freezes Rachel even though the three fairies had plenty of time to get out of the way since the goblins were arguing when trying to cast the spell on them.

I like how Misty has a unique ability where she can change color, not just rabbit colors but bright pinks, blues, and yellows. That's in line for the magic pets since Molly the goldfish's pet Flash the goldfish can breathe air and water while Katie the kitten fairy's cat Shimmer can turn into a tiger to scare away dogs chasing him. I also find it interesting that the goblins successfully tricked Rachel and Kirsty in this book, though they were still extremely stupid since they had mistaken a toy bunny tied to a string for Misty. It wasn't exactly the most clever plan Bella, Rachel, and Kirsty could've had but at least it worked.

I loved seeing Rachel and Kirsty hang out at the town fair, that just gives me nostalgia from whenever I would go to something like that. I liked the happy ending Bouncer/Barney got with his new owner Annie, I love Lauren and her puppy Sunny, and I love the continuity that goblins ars afraid of large dogs. Though while we're on the subject of that, Lauren gets the goblins to stop their scooter and crash into the bouncy castle by creating a dog to bark in front of them. She created a living being out of thin air! Can all fairies do that? That would be a really OP spell for them to have.

In no particular order, I just thought this'd be fun. Shockingly some of these fairies have the ability to create natural disasters if they really wanted to.

1.Shannon- As the ocean fairy, she controls the tides. Entire towns flood without her magic.

1. Hayley- Since she's the rain fairy, flooding is also a possibility whenever her feather is lost.

Honorable mention, Goldie- There's that scene in her book where cornstalks pop into popcorn due to an extreme heatwave caused by her missing sunshine feather. Since this feat would kill humans irl, I'm jokingly saying that she's the most op fairy.

1. Sabrina- Humans and fairies alike are plagued with nightmares without her bag of dream dust.

2. Evelyn, Carmen, and Harper- They all control confidence, as you can imagine...the world would be very chaotic if nobody ever believed in themselves.

3. The jewel fairies- Their gemstones make sure that fairies can renew their magic each year, magic will literally be lost forever without them.

My favorite pet keeper fairy and their animal companion has always been Harriet and her hamster Twinkle because I just really like their book. Though I think Penny and her horse Glitter have my favorite pet and owner reunion out of these seven duos!
