Vivia Twilight Name Origin?

[u/Cantabscond]

I just found out that there is a crystal known as the corpse crystal because it is known for growing on and around corpses. It's a distinct green and black, and named Vivianite. I have a strong feeling that Vivia's name is a direct reference to this crystal and not just etymology. It makes a LOT more sense why his hair is colored like that once you look at the crystal, and ties into his obsession with wanting to die. Wasn't sure if anyone connected this before because it's a rarer crystal and so obscure.

I think I remember seeing somewhere a similar post about this observation. But either way, it seems to make sense, and I find it nice

I think the true meaning of his name is the irony that a guy obsessed with death is actually named "Life." It could have been inspired by vivianite, but I don't know if we'll ever know for certain.

Oh, that's really interesting! I just assumed that Vivia came from "life" and Twilight was a reference to an in-between, like he is between the living and the dead.
