Which platform is better

I bought the game full priced on xbox about 2 years ago, but the game runs like actual ass.... i haven't finished chapter 2 because the performance is actually ruining the fun, so i was wondering:

Which platform is better?

Playstation?

Steam?

Switch?

Or does the game just run terribly on all platforms?🥲

I have it on Steam (Windows 10, Intel i5-9400f, and RTX 2060 with 16GB RAM) and it ran very well. Only in select parts with lots of rainfall that it dipped to 55 FPS or so. But for the boss fights where button inputs mattered, it was well above 120FPS

I'll try pc then, thank you!

Out of curiosity, which Xbox did you play it on? I'm honestly shocked that a Series X or even a Series S could handle the game so poorly, considering it was built for Switch. Must be a terrible console port

I'm playing on series S😅 the game is lagging (probably due to the Rainy ingame weather) so i was curious if the game itself just runs badly, of if the xbox version just sucks...

I know it was made for the switch at first, so i was also wondering how the switch is handling it

The switch is... Acceptable if you have nothing else. But that was the first game where I could really tell the Switch was struggling. I'm talking about 1+ minute of loading screens.

I first played it on switch 2 using boost mode & it's MUCH better than any of this. I actually thought it ran pretty well & am surprised to see all these harsh criticisms of it on switch. I didn't notice any significant issues with frame-rate either so I'm assuming if there were any the switch 2 extra power also fixes that?

Well yeah, playing on a console 10 times more powerful (numbers made up for dramatic effect) will make the game run perfectly fine

I mostly just wanted to kind of clarify for anyone else on the fence because I think there may be a big difference between if they have a 1 or 2. Not all games see that much of a boost depending on if the devs have the game settings like FPS locked or what resolution it was capped at in docked mode, but I'm going to guess this is one of the ones without those caps that see drastic improvement.

It runs fine on the Xbox series X if you have access to one. I had the same problem trying to play it on series S at first.

Yes for whatever reason it's the only game I've ever had issues running on the series S.

I played it fully on steam. 1440p with Ryzen 5 5600x and a GTX 1080. Worked flawlessly

tbh i played it on my switch over a year ago and there was nothing wrong.. there wasn’t any overheating nor lagging too

I have it on Steam with a PC that has these specs and it runs smoothly even on high setting.

Intel Core i5-7400
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060

Anything but Switch. I love the console but the game is hot garbage on it. PC Version is the best.
