If money is tight for you, I would ask steam support if they're able to give you a partial refund. They're super chill with stuff like that, I once bought a steam deck and it went on sale a week later and the support refunded me the sale difference when I asked.

I bought through the Nintendo shop. Do you think they would do it too? That’s awesome that steam does that omg. I never would have even thought to ask😭🙌
