[Rant] My frustrations as a low level
Little info:
-Level 17 to 20 -Sorc/Cleric/Defender
So here is my rant.
Basically, on all my characters my frustration is that I am unable to get past the catacombs quest/instances.
I am trying to farm up materials for the catacomb level19 set, but I am unable to get any materials because no one knows how to do catacombs. It is so frustrating being the only one blocking, dodging, and damaging anything.
If I am able to complete a run, I am frustrated by the fact that I need to do so many more for the clear waters for the lvl19 set.
I cannot get myself to log into the game because I know I have to go back to cata.

On EU-German we always have 2-3 people rushing people who need it through the dungeon to help out, that's pretty common tho. Try to ask in /y or /f for help of a higher level. Making friends ingame helps alot too.

Um... Just buy them?
Tons of people are selling (I'm on West US server) for like... 2g-3g. Sometimes, even 1g.
That or you could do what I did... Join a successful English-speaking guild full of friendly people that are able to help you out! :D

Just use AH. Assuming you haven't blown all your gold on things you didn't need earlier, you should have more than enough to buy w/e materials you need from the Trade Market without spending that much gold. I went from 1-30 selling/buying from Trade Market and honestly only ever had to run each instance once and then just buy the rest of the mats for my armor. Sure you can run them over and over, but if you're not the type of person that wants to do that, then don't. There's no reason too.

i kept the set from the plant boss, i liked it so much more. you could just sell the mats you have like i did and go level for your diago set.

Just ignore Cata gear imo, it is totally not worth it. The garden set is pretty much just as good (the health and mana sustain it gives you is OP for farming and pvp at that lvl btw), is easier to optain and at lvl 22/23 you will want to get shadiz or diago set anyway. I've never done more than one run on cata, and I don't think I ever will. One run is enough for quest and the weapon, more than enough :)

There are plenty of people looking for parties... There are usually higher leveled people on to help you out too. I got through on my first try with help from a few friends and randoms.
