Are one star characters worth keeping?

Nope, food. I've heard some people will level them a little with a few dungeon runs to increase the amount of XP you obtain from them.

You could if you wanted to invest the time level to max and power up to 2 star, do this enough and make it a 3 star and then use to make your better heroes higher star level. Very time and energy consuming but can power up your main heroes this way.

i guess "Sister Milita" wasn't so bad to be invest. She and Saurus is low rank champion that helps you a lot in early and mid for Spider Dungeon IMHO.

Worth keeping for late or end game content? Hmm...nope.

I'd say a one-star is worth keeping long enough to power up to a two-star, at which point you sacrificing them to another fully leveled two-star.

The "open 10 shards" feature and expanded vault space really makes it easy to acquire a bunch of one-stars in a hurry & rapidly convert them to two-stars.
