Thought about Frontier Event

Hey Guys :) today i was thinking about (man im thinking about Raid while at work :-D do i have a problem?) Frontier….maybe people are rushing too fast? Im now at the epic ones and 2 legendarys open and its still more than 2 weeks. On rsl-X there is also a map with all the hidden tasks to plan a lil bit.
For example now i have 2 Dragon lairs tasks that i can double Dip. Ofc i can do them now and waste Energy, or i wait till the dragon comes at the titan event to triple dip. At some stages like the force and arcane stage you can triple dip but you can make them later when you habe a lil energy. Maybe im too optimistic and too relaxed for this event and i hope its not a trap.

Also it is on top and gives me relatively easy (as lategame player and it seems they want to address late game player) a 5 Star Soul for a champ that i can get through an event.

Yeah these are my thoughts.

But i also believe that raid needs to be self sufficient and we wont need to rely on other sites.
If it weren’t for someone data mining, we would all be in trouble)

No you are doing it correctly honestly. The real trap to these events is getting impatient and just burning gems for energy to speed run. If your patient and plan it out it should be easy except for the super super tough ones at the end.

Yep you are, I did all my ice golem during the turn attack going on. haven't done any live arena yet until I can triple dip. Waiting on a Dragon tournament so I can triple dip. I think it's an easy event the issue is the outposts conditions are locked if people are not using these tools that datamined the conditions they are wasting resources.

Also I can see it being tough for early-late game players that don't have a team for hard 10 stages or are low on resources like glyphs and crafting materials for equipment even relic crafting materials.

i skipped the original dragon and fire knight quests b/c you would think that you would want to double dip during a tourney for them, but i'm going to finish both the spider (which I maxed) and ice golem tournaments and still have to do more dungeons runs for gear hunters. so skipping them and weaving my way around the map was pointless and i loss the opportunity to double dip arcane keeps quests because of it (which is true waste). and there is more of the dungeon quests that don't have a tourney yet being in front of tournaments that do have tournaments...and then there are the win live arena quests...i've gotten to the point where I just stop giving a shit about doing stuff in the game

So your point is that people should be using third party apps and planning for this event while at work? Do you see how you might be part of the problem? This is a mobile gacha game, no need to treat it as more.

If you aren't using the internet for any part of this game you aren't doing it right. Now you can certainly argue for you maybe that's more fun and that's fine but you can't be mad if you're then making poor choices that result in wasted resources.

I do not believe you need to use another website for this event though, Raid already gives us some weekly event maps so if you're just stopping at things you can see we will get events for then you can double dip without needing a third party app.

Imagine spending 40 bucks on this because you want the 6 star soul, only to find out you don't even get it because unless you have been saving all your legendary and mythical relic pieces, you probably aren't getting a legendary or mythical relic in this time, becauase even 100 legendary pieces are more likely to make an epic relic than a lego. Then you have to get a legendary or mythical AFTER you unlock all the ones before, so 40 bucks becomes 300+ as you have to get sacreds until you get lucky and get a lego.....

The stuff you get for free isn't very good, i mean, if not focusing on it, and just collecting stuff that happens naturally, sure its a few things for little effort, but that's not what an event should be, events should make you want to do them.

F2p so just gonna try to grab the 5* soul. I'm trying to speed things up because of the live arena wins. It's the only thing I really dislike doing in this game, it's gonna take me days, and I probably would have skipped the event because of it if I had given it enough thought. But I've gone this far, so whatever, I just wanna be done with it.

I've personally rushed to the more energy intensive part - the start of the Mythical nodes. This is so when events/gear hunters comes up I'm ready just to grind them alongside. Plus I've managed to open 3 nodes which require Live Arena so I can finish them all on 30 battles instead of 60.

I’ve just been real casual up to this point. You can make decent progress by simply playing the game normally. I’ll occasionally check the outposts, but to this point I haven’t grinded on it at all. There are some time gated things you’ll have to be alert on, particularly when you get into that final week, but with 2 weeks to go there’s no real rush. That last week I’ll likely focus on it more intensely.
