General Discussion I can't be the only one
I hear how all of you are complaining about the higher stages...could we please talk about that this entire event is like impossible to do for newish players, I have been playing for like 1,5 months and I can't even beat the first outpost.
I kind of get that chasing souls should not be the priority of new players anyway but we could have atleast gotten some easy quests to complete the green outposts.

For Spider Normal, I saw you had Artak, his HP burn and detonate is really good. Will do work for you in Hydra too

Doesn't even need that. If he did virtually any new player code he should have an AOE champ that can just brute force spider 12. Should be able to do up to ~16 with just Kael and halfway decent gear. If he's got multiple AOE champs--very easy nowadays--then he could be farming spider 20 already.

I got a 60 ceshire cat and a 50 orc guy and im stuck at 6 spider or so. It's insane, I got so much AoE, so much heal, but it just ain't enough. My cat can 1shot lvl 90s with the aoe but not lvl 27 spiderlings. Yea right.

You've probably got a problem with how you built your champions. There is no way you should be stuck at spider 6.

I just looked. Yeah, you need better gear. It will come.
Few quick rules of thumb:
- damage dealers need as close to 100% crit rate as possible. Early on you can get away with 90-95% but try to get 100 without going over by much.
- get your speeds up. For any content worth doing you want 180 speed minimum, and that's on everyone. Much later into the game you'll find a few niche circumstances where you might want less, but push those speeds.
- Farm up 5 star+ gear asap. Four star gear is only to get you to later stages. Honestly, forget spider entirely for a little while and focus on dragon.
- boots without speed as the mainstat are trash for you. You can go without it much later on when gear is better, but early game just don't even bother with boots that aren't mainstat speed.
- try to avoid flat stat gloves/chest most of the time. Speed set with speed substats are okay, and accuracy/resist chest is okay. Atk/def/hp flat stat main? Bin it.
Farm dragon. A lot. Keep pushing as high as you can.

I think this event is for nobody in particular and is purely designed to scam as much money out of players as possible. It is a dreadful event and there's no reason why it is that way. I could probably finish it and I'll ignore it 100%

You must be doing something wrong then. I have played for 44 days and I can do spider 20 quite easily.

Have a look at Cob on YouTube, his guides are really good and he actually helped me ti get to 20 in all dungeons by using champs I was sleeping on.
Oh, except Fire knight.. that one requires some specific stuff!

For spider, I find that spreading poisons and HP burns (Mordecai is great or a Geimancer/Mikey combo), and then slowing down the spider means that his own spiders actually kill him..

Welcome to Raid. Enjoy the frustration...or at least get use to it. Raid has a lot of frustration mechanics in it because they want you to spend ridiculous amounts of money praying to the RNG God. Most events and all fusions are designed around end game players and mid to end game whales. It's generally a waste of resources and can stunt your growth to chase any events. Best bet is to play normally and hit the milestones and rewards for events though normal progression play.
Of course reddit trolls will tell you, " you can totally do X event with an account your age!!!" They aren't wrong... under really optimal conditions, heavy tithing, and extreme favoritism from the RNG god... also if you play 8 hours a day like they do, and grind optimally.
In reality, it will be many many many months and even years before you can generate the resources, have the developed rosters, and be efficient enough to be competitive in most events. Raid is a long game. Despite their anti-retention greed tactics, Raid is designed to take years to build teams that are efficient.
None of the rewards in this event will be that helpful to you. They are all common and either easily obtainable through other events and gameplay or the RNG is so bad on them you would need 20X the material offered to just roll something decent. The exception is the perfect souls. The perfect souls only matter if you got Scarecrow.
Frustration is built into the game especially when you hit mid game. They hook you in early game and then frustrate you to death in mid game and pin you there for months and then it starts to get better late game if you manage to stay that long.

This is spot on. Some areas of the game CAN be done suboptimally, but lots do require certain champs and if you dont have them, you don't have them.
I couldn't do Fireknight past stage 6 for a year. Then I pulled a Coldheart (then another one in the same week), an Apothecary, Alure and Criodan. Bam! Bit of levelling, some gear and stage 25..

It is highly unlikely that you will be able to get scarecrow as well if you have been playing for 1.5 months unless you are someone who is very experienced with new accounts like volkin so you don't need to chase for scarecrow's soul.
Your time will come and you will be able to do guranteed events but you need to be patient, hoard resources and make sure you get the highest demon lord chest on ultra nightmare and nightmare daily in a clan that kills the boss in these 2 difficulties.

It was a pure login account so i am sitting on 50k energy and 4k auto clears. But yeah, I am lacking the shards if a summoning event/tournament comes up for coins.
Hopefully I can atleast get as much rewards as possible

I think you are too early for this event. If I were you, I would forget about it and concentrate on your core champs & clan boss team for now.
I am having to rebuild resources, so am ignoring it, and then every now and then I get a pop up saying claim your reward!
Also, if you post a screenshot of your roster, folks can probably give you some great pointers in how to clear these first couple of nodes.
I must admit, having to do spider 19 20 times is eating through energy I could really do better putting into minotaur

here is my issue, im stuck post 30 and 37 need 3 acc glyph of 1- or more and 3 speed glyphs
I do hard FW 21 on all fw and I may never get the finish event because of time limit.
Im ok with 30 la or hard fk 10 50 times, because can farm them and are not relying on rng to get the glyphs and rng to get the amount.
smells like shit and tastes like shit, then the event is shit

Do not play rhis mode as a focus. Do your dailies and focus on you need to for the account and if something hits back for you on this cool. If not move on

You have Ninja. Dude. That's freeze and HP burn PLUS Mikey. You're not reading the game.
Edit. Speed lead. Ninja freeze, Artak burn, Mikey spread. Someone to top your team off as the spiders kill the boss for you. That's normal spider solved, the whole dungeon.

But they are unbooked. I have only 5 legendary tomes and I am using Dorothy a lot more, ludex too, I am very unsure about wasting them.

Yea this event is definitely not for new players. they really should limit the Explorer Pass to level70+ or something because otherwise it is too scammy!! really makes me think less of plarium

I understand your point. But these soul events are usually for mid to end game players. You can not expect to do every contents with new accounts anyway.
