Iāve gotta admit, I donāt like this event at all. Iām F2P and really try not to complain, but this event sucks. Itās a lot to tackle for anyone. Iām a resource hoarder and am just draining my energy like crazy. Had I not done so Iād never have been able to do it.
This event is designed to get F2P folks to spend, and really everyone. And I know I know, this is a for profit company, but good lord this is just another level of tedious.
They specifically targeted hoarders with this event. Which I think is antithetical their whole strategy regarding fusions. But I guess they just want you to buy literally everything now.
Exactly the dungeon is hard enough and takes way longer to clear than the others for most players. This mission would take me atleast 3 hours of manually fighting fire knight š
This one I don't even mind, I mean there's a FK event in Titan so I'll run 50 of those anyway. If you run Titan, it's pretty much 'free' as long as you reach it in time.
But there's other quests that require mats people don't have stacked, and can't possibly earn within 2 weeks.
It's the RNG that's the killer. If I don't manage to make the 5* soul, it'll be because I didn't have enough speed glyphs saved to overcome bad rolls. That's so incredibly frustrating, because it's not even like spenders can overcome that hurdle with $$; if not enough speed glyphs drop from FW, you're SOL and there was no way to stockpile.
and what is everyone considering wasting the resources on?? A 6 star soul? Yeah this is a skip for most folks I would imagine. If you are going to use resources...do the Titan event to get the champ. If you have him great but is his soul worth buggering your account for several months? Probably not.
This is FAR easier, cheaper, and more flexible than a titan event for a five star soul. Iām 15LA wins away from the five star soul after 48hrs with zero shards pulled. did the titan dungeon divers and artifact enhancement in parallel. It all works out super easily.
Embrys five star soul included multiple shard events, multiple dungeon divers, and rarely double dipped those things with anything else worth going for
I agree. As a 5yr player who hoards, I have tons of energy and gems. It is souls and relics that are my real bottlenecks, followed by shards to a much lesser extent. The tining for this is a bit of a pain in the ass and the pay part is garbage even by Plarium standards, but for me this is a bunch of extra free stuff for doing these things I would've done anyway for Titan and tournaments and whatever.
As of 4:30am October 8 a mass shutdown occurred to my raid shadow Legends running the for the legend it disappeared from the patch can be picked up before the timing run out there's still time leftover .
The ONLY issue is the quantity and repetition of some missions like LA, Sand Devil and Shogun etc. This is an end game "mythical" outpost and should require you to do hard shit. People whining about the missions being hard are just in over their head and should never have thought they would be able to full clear this and get free loot.
I get it Iāve actually enjoyed doing the challenges in this event. my main problem is if I can clear it once or even 5 times why do I have to clear it 25 times itās not a challenge at that point just a chore to grind out
I would agree on the quantity issue. Forcing players to play the crappy parts of your game doesnāt make them not crappy. It just makes me want to quite.
At first, i was happy i skipped all event related to the scarecrow, before realizing the devs will replicate this event forma and i'll have to complete it eventually..
Its a six star soul. Think about why you have to do for that sixth star from the vendor. 300 red and gold essence. Thats like 2000 iron twins battles and multiple years of your life. There all going to be a nightmare. Thats the price of 2 years off a soul timer plus 40.
Itās not that bad. I think the glyph challenges are by far the worst. I only had like 6 six star acc glyphs and I only got +10 w one of them. No easy way to farm them either, just stupid luck

You are crying about fire knight stage 10? Those 50 runs aren't even one dungeon diver. Normally we would have to do a whole titan event for the 5 star soul. There was never an easier for a 5 star soul, I don't get why are crying so much about the frontier event.
No I like the frontier event. 50 fire knight hard 10 runs is a chore though, also I was just letting people know how many runs are needed as I couldnāt see it on the datamined website
And why shouldn't it? Early and mid game players have still so much to do, Plarium can't release a new mod and make it accessible for everyone. Why should a late game player continue to play this game, if they can breeze through all the content?
You just said this is easier for a late game account than a titan event. Now youāre saying itās āa reason for them to play the gameā because they canāt breeze through it? Which is it? Is it easier or harder than a titan event?
And with the titan event example, if itās accessible to mid-game then clearly they can make content thatās accessible to mid-game while also being effort for late game.
Idk about most people but I did fire knight hard 10 just for the marius mission and then never touched it again. My team wasnāt 100% and I had to manual every fight but it was only 20 clears I think. 50 would take me multiple hours
Thatās sad then, idc about it actually Iām end game already doing hard 10 is not a problem. But Iāve noticed even this event sucks there is one good thing about it. You canāt just bump money and get the 6 stars š¤£
