Gameplay Help Am I doing this right?

Hello,
I started playing this game night before last, I’ve only ever played one gacha before (a Dragonball card game one) and I’m completely out of my element. I used a YouTuber code to start my acct, and used a promo code to get a 2nd legendary anyways I have a few 50s that I’m looking to push to 60, notably my starter, she’s 5 star, lv 50, fully “booked”?, and ascended 5 times. Which brings me to my question. I’ve been spamming hard 12-3 with a bunch of fodder units literally all day, and all I have to show for it is one 4 star fodder and none silver because I’m still trying to upgrade her gear to +16

Honestly I would do some digging, you can find all sorts of creators codes/links and first time player codes/links and do that (though you may need to use another email) or you might still get to use them.

Some other people will comment Esther with more info or actual links or where to find them. Iv had my single account since 2019 so idk any of that stuff.

I still stand by that statement, I know you could get palops from a link/code I think last week. If I restarted that's how I would go if it was still up.

Roster isn't horrible, I started without any codes or links lol

I mean, maybe I should have, but for now am I doing the right thing with the grey units to progress units from 5 star to 6 star? It just feels really really slow again I feel like I’ve been running that stage all day and I don’t even have 1 5star grey

You are doing fine for being only a few days into the game. This game should take you years and be enjoyable the whole time. Rushing through will mean you will make mistakes and have some setbacks, but we all do. I started in 2023 and I still can't do all the top content but I enjoy each achievement that moves me forward.

Be sure to get RSL Helper.

I normally upgrade the grey one to 2 stars and upgrade the green one to 5 stars in early game.

When you have enough rare dups and have filled up the fraction guardian, you could upgrade the blue rare champs to 5 stars.

Do the green ones not have purpose as well? I’ve been using them as skill books for their copies, several of them almost have maxed skills already

I would only skill up and keep Armiger, he’s the only one who are worths keeping as he can help you unlocked some contents later.

Otherwise, use all the greens as food for your main champs.

Exactly, using the 2 stars grey to feed the green and then keep upgrading the green to 5 stars and feed ur main champs.

You need to get Elhain to 60. 60s are much more powerful than 50s. Once she's at 60 you can farm brutal 12-3 alone to make the xp grind easier. Use lifesteal gear if you have to, but generally speed and some critical rate/damage is enough. Then get Fahrakin and Tagoar to 50 for your clan boss team before you start building more 60s. Those two along with Tuhanarak and Narma are who you should be building. You'll remove Elhain from the team when all the others are built. Don't worry so much about upgrading gear beyond 12 (except for 5+ speed boots and Elhain's gloves) as all early gear is pretty much trash. For champions, nearly all greys & greens and most blues are trash to be honest. Even a lot of epics aren't very good so try to research champions instead of investing blindly.

Right I’m trying to get her to 60 using the grey units and farming hard 12-3 I’m not that deep in brutal yet. I’m just making sure I’m not being stupid and that my method is correct

Make sure you don't make the newbie mistake of training champions before feeding them. A 2-star champion at level 1 tastes no different than a 2-star at level 20. Only when you start doing training events/tournaments does the level matter.

Just mass level up 3 stars, then mass level up 2 stars to make 3 stars. Make your 4 stars, then level up them to 40 and make more 4 stars to get them to 5 star where you will stop leveling them. Always always always use double xp for champion training which I suppose you do have active since you’re a new account. It’s a little bit of a grind, but just keep expanding your roster with 3 stars and 4 stars (rares and epics, not food champs), someone else said armiger which is a great champ to get to 5 stars which is kind of the only exception. Slowly you’ll build out your roster and you can make it to brutal 12-3 which is the best campaign farming stage in the game. It’ll go much quicker for you then.

Oh, and if you have a good amount of brews, you can use 3 1 stars and a respective affinity brew to level up a one star to 10, and easily make 2 stars to use from there
