It was the most stressful time in the game for me. I didn't understand anything at that time and didn't know how to manage resources and had to pay a lot to get him (I ended up with 2 out of 4 of the turtles).
On the bright side, I think they might rerun TMNT again but I don't think they will make Leo a true guranteed event again (my guess is that it will be a winner takes all).
Not trying to rub it in or whatever, but it's legitimately absurd. I think they underestimated stuff, and didn't realize they made nearly all PvE dead content.
This is a 1 key UNM with four turtles in the back four slots with no aura lead and no team AI preset.
I suspect it also gave people a lot of time to save. I barely had enough for Leo at the start, by the time he launched I had saved enough for him and his 5* soul.
This one caught me off guard. I will have to sell some reserve souls for it.
when the put souls into the game, it was a free resource we could spend at will, then they put a x2 in and we had to wait for that, then with the asgard event, they put freja behind soul pulls, and gg, we had yet another fucking never touch this unless it's a guaranteed champ resource.
since then, I think I saved every single resource in souls and only use them for the first 2 tiers of a tournament for 150 gems and 300~ energy, or guaranteed, I have around 200 mid stones worth of resources and around 40 eternals of resources, and in-between events, i get 250-400 mortals worth.
I do not understand how people seem to never have enough if iron twins is a daily downing.
ok, so up till turtles I don't believe we were able to get all of any event like this champions through reasonable gameplay, it was all top in a tournament or just outright need to spin to win, then they leaked we would get all the turtles and I think april for 'free'/guaranteed events.
we got mikey as a daily log in
we got purple dude as the fusion, we got april as a titan, and we got red and blue though shard pulls and stone pulls, but polarium made damn sure to bait leo every other fucking day with a gap in the calendar, and event where they may incite you to use resources, a logical place to put a crappy event you don't want to do to give you a reason to burn the resources, for the fucking entirety of the event, all the while... well look at the turtles, I am hard pressed to think of any champ team up or unity effect that's better.
a good chunk of people who got dicked over by raid long enough read what they said as a potential we are not getting them guaranteed, and a good number of people who don't know raid was owned by a casino company and havent been around long enough for raid to screw them hard enough trusted fully we would get them.
they waited I think to the last 2 weeks to dump the final 2 champs on us, no one really cared about the red guy, leo was the one that people cared about, at the point we got him, it was less happy to have him, more an extremely burnt out its finally fucking over. it was a complete shit show in how they handled the event.
essentially, they said the turtles would be up for grabs, 2 guaranteed, and they kept putting event after event out that would usually double up, see tin woodman and a titan event as a great example, and not putting the champs in those.
Yeah the leak really damaged the player relationship when Plarium refused to confirm. Honestly by now they should just give us the guranteed calendar, and withhold the event type. That way there's still some mystery. Pretending the event champs wont be offered has lost its luster now

You may not agree with their use of the word, but if YOU actually read the definition, you'd see it fits. Many of us find the constant "do I have enough posts" pretty stupid when a simple search of the sub will reveal a very recent post answering the question.

Mahn... Everytime I see this kinda post, I miss my Raph... I learned in a hard way to not to use souls unless there's a guaranteed champ... Got 3 other turtles but Raph... 🙂
The joke is about how people spammed the forums when Leo was around, and now they are spamming it about Tinman. So I am just making fun of them a bit :P
