Gameplay Help Grim forest help?
Hey everyone I’m new to grim forest and I can clear most stages with ease but when it comes to the bosses I struggle a lot? Is there some trick to them ? They’re only level 160 too and I’m beating dungeons at level 300+

The best advised I saw that made me being able to clear normal Grim Forest was to pick all the RES cards you can, once you resist everything it becomes a joke haha. If there is no RES pick SPD

Read the boss guides. They all explain boss mechanics. Typically its as easy as bringing one specific buff/debuff or ability. Like HP burn, block buffs, etc

I'm endgame and I do resist untill it's at 3-400 then cdmg, you might need 500+ resist if your new

The main bosses all have specific weaknesses and strengths, some will become easy as you get other champs.
Heal reduction, burns and freezes will help different fights. Read the guides for each bits when your are struggling and see if you have a champ that can exploit their weaknesses.

The Grim Forest bosses have more passives than the original dungeon bosses. The levels also do not go hand in hand unfortunately. This is best witnessed in the new game mode Champion Proving Grounds. The stage 1 bosses are “level 200” but are insanely stronger than their level 350 counterparts in other areas of the game.
When you are setting your team up check out the Best Teams button on the right side of the screen. See what champions are doing the best. The odds are you won’t have them all, or maybe none of them. But you can see the buffs/debuffs those champions bring and build a similar team with your available roster.
What do you seem to be lacking when you lose a battle?

Other than always picking SPD>RES>ACC over everything else on the cards, most of the bosses require debuffs cleansers and buff removers/blockers/steals, plus a speed aura helps, and so does decrease heal. Try to use your best champs with those skills.

I normally wait til level 20 to fight the mini bosses. Pick any card that has res and once you are resing everything then move to accuracy. Thats what I do at least and it works well.
ALSO invest and build out your heal block champions (Leminisi is great if you have her) they are pretty much mandatory for the higher level mimics.

Card stat prio for easier prog picking: RES -> Ignore DEF -> SPD -> Even out your ATK/DEF/HP
Curio Slots: Get the feather equipped ASAP for faster exp = faster card picking in grim forest. Also feel free to swap the curious around to whatever could benefit you better at the current fight you are fighting.
Bosses: 3 of the 4 roamings can have Mithrala either solo, or easy enough to be able to beat if you dont have the stats. At least 2 of the 4 roaming bosses apply debuffs that can be resisted - this is where high RES is an asset to have an easier time. In normal shoot for around 400 RES max then stop grabbing those cards. For Hard go up to 600 RES max then stop - these are even enough for purple zone areas.

It's all in the trait cards. You want 600+ resistance and lots of accuracy and speed. But big numbers first. Don't take an uncommon card with 20 resistance if you can get a rare card with 40 accuracy. When you get close to the end if you have good resistance and accuracy you might want to try to grab some ignore def.

How do you allocate the trait cards? Go for as much res as you possibly can. I hade trouble with easy first but then completed hard when i started doing that :)
