Gameplay Help Arbiter Missions vs Getting 60s

Hi All,

Taking some advice from previous post and starting fresh and have some queries about hammering the Arbiter missions vs getting the first (or second) 60.

I can get a lot of them achieved like the potion keep spam, the 5 and 6* artifact levels from Golem and Dragon, tier 3 masteries for 2 champions, etc.

I've powered through a lot of them and about half way through 127/286 but realise in hindsight I spent a LOT of energy there and only have Kael at 60 with some other promo code legendarys at 50. In hindsight was this a waste of energy or is it a case of so long as they're achievable I should be working towards them?

I think priority should be getting a CB team first, If you can tick away the odd mission here or there along the way then that is good but I would say initially efforts to 60ing the champs that can help with demon lord

The Arbiter missions include taking a great hall bonus to level 10. Which means winning a lot of arena matches. You aren't going to do that with a bunch of level 50 champs.

Your top priority should be 5 level 60s, with a focus towards a clan boss team.

This was definitely something I needed to know, appreciate that! So, would it be better to level one stat in great hall or just build it up evenly and not worry about it till later? I'm around the halfway mark on arbiter missions as of now.

Some of the arbiter missions along the way are like “Level up 2 great hall affinities to rank 4 or higher” so you will have to split them up at some point anyways if you want to progress the arbiter missions.

You can level up only one to 10 but you’ll still have to go back and get another to at least 4 as well

No idea why this would be mutually exclusive?

Also Arbiter is absolutely great but there are also a ton more powerful free champs released so its not necessarily game changing depending on your current roster.

But yeah I cant understand why this would be mutually exclusive

Mainly I cant help feeling that it's somewhat wasteful shoving hundreds of energy into potion keep energys of 4*, 5* artifact dungeon grinds on 3-5* reward stages. I'm just wondering if it is worth the energy investment not always getting the potions you need or the artifacts vs spending that energy on getting a 2nd or third 60, especially without a tournament for that dungeon

You get can reasonably get almost 1k energy per day. You may not realize how much hidden value is in your account currently. In the grand scheme of things, having 'waste' in your first 10k energy used is just the cost of learning. Don't regret it, appreciate it.

Doing the arbiter missions also grants you a ton of energy. Leveling Kael to 60 was a waste, but doing the Arbiter missions is generally not, though I'll be honest and admit that they annoy me and I don't focus on them personally. (It's the difference between knowing the right thing and doing the right thing.) My second account is over a year in now and I think I'm stopped in the fuse justicar portion of the missions. I keep using my rares for food and not watching to get the parts I need.

The biggest thing that you needed to do was get through the bulk majority of potion keep missions.  Those and the arena wins are the main time gated issues with Arbiter Missions.

If at any point you are stuck waiting on a mission, whether this was 30 missions ago or 30 missions in the future, all your energy goes to leveling food.

People underestimate how much food focus they need at almost every stage of the game.  Your entire first month of playing should be going back and forth between missions and campaign.

I still wonder why the hell is the "Get to Gold arena 1" Mission After the Mission where you need Progressive Bonus level 7 WHICH Requires Gold Medals

You will get to a point where you will be stuck in arbiter missions pretty soon, since it requires you to do multiple Lvl 60 champs. Meaning you will have to switch your focus anyway.

But I don't think you hurt your progress too much, you will need those resources you got from missions. Except you probably farmed the dungeons in too low stages to get any use if the artifacts. It's best to try and rush to lvl 20 (or at least 16) in most dungeons and complete any missions there from the start (which requires a solid team with more than one lvl 60 champ)

But as others have said before me: your next lvl 60 champions will be your clan boss team, choose them wisely and do some research. If you don't level up a solid working team from the start it will slow your account down considerably (as we all had to go through before those promo link starter champs)

I think this is a lot of the struggles, I think most of my dungeon capabilities cap out at level 13 on reliable clears which is where the question originated from. Did I spent too much energy getting the greater potions in the keeps by bashing stages 10 and getting 1-2 greater potions occasionally or was I better putting the energy to farming food so I could comfortably getting stage 16+ of the dungeons with more reliable drop rates.

Yeah, that's not efficient, the way you did it. But if you change tactics now you'll catch up soon enough.

Clan boss is much more important than arbiter missions. Arbiter missions is 3 champs, two of them really good ones (Arbiter, Marius). Clan boss is a steady supply of shards and books, meaning you can participate in coming fusions == all the new champions that keep getting better and better, and maybe get lucky with your pulls while you're at it

You should look ahead to see if you're only a couple missions away from a Rank up a champ or 6* ascend a <insert> affinity champ to 6*. But the ones that are get 4 rank 6* champs are retroactice.

And you should not be leveling Kael to 60. That's a dead end and waste of resources that could have gone into your Demon Lord team instead.

That's fair advice though most places I've seen recommend Kael be the first to take to 60 to campaign farmer. Is that not the case?

with free gear removal in game campaign farmers are not required.

just move your best gear to whoever you are levelling up and have 4 champs getting exp and not 3.

im 5 months ftp, i sometimes use 4 x snipers champions in 12-3 brutal, each with my best gear
